Every banner, raid, Universal Tear, and Extraction drop for the newest units, plus the Boundless Ichigo evolution path.

Every banner, raid, Universal Tear, and Extraction drop for the newest units, plus the Boundless Ichigo evolution path.

The latest content wave in Universal Tower Defense Z folds 24 new units into the roster, and they are scattered across almost every system in the game. Some drop from summon banners, others come from raids, Universal Tears, Extraction expeditions, and the limited-time Summer Event. Knowing exactly where each one lives saves you from wasting Gems or grinding the wrong stage. You can jump in on the official Roblox game page and work through the list below.

Quick answer: Pull the Selection and Special Banners for the Bleach and Persona units, farm the Reaper City raid and Beast Desert Legend Stage for Secret units, run the Extractions portal on Nightmare for the Marvel units, clear the Moonless Sky Rift Universal Tear for Yhwach, and grind Summer Currency for Ashen Valkyrie and Azuron.

Summon banner units and drop rates

Nine of the new units come from banners built around a Bleach and Persona crossover. The rest of the summonable additions sit on the Special Banner. Open the Summon area, choose the banner, and use the Index button to confirm exactly which unit each pull can produce before spending Gems.

The Selection Banner rarity odds shape how long the grind runs. Higher tiers are rare, so plan for pity and multi-summons rather than a lucky single pull.

Secret units from raids, tears, and story stages

Several of the strongest new additions are Secret units earned by farming specific modes. Open the Areas menu for raids and story stages, and use the War button for the limited-time team event. Each entry below drops the base unit or the unit outright at the listed chance.

Rukia sits on the Selection Banner as a Legendary. Once you have her, she evolves into her Ice Queen (White Haze) form rather than dropping directly from any stage.

Marvel units from the Extractions portal

The Marvel-themed units come out of the Extractions portal in the lobby, which opens the Expedition menu. Run these on Nightmare difficulty for the drops. Trickster Phantom also carries an Item Pity counter, so a set number of runs guarantees it even without an early drop.

Evolve Boundless Ichigo

Boundless Ichigo is a two-step evolution off the base Ichigo unit. You need the raid drop first, then two rounds of materials pulled from the Bleach raid and the new Universal Tear.

Farm base Ichigo from the Bleach raid at Top of Hueco Castle, Act 5: Highest Great Hollow, where it drops at 3%.
In the Evolution menu, evolve Ichigo into his Rage (Vasto Lorde) Secret form. This costs 25,000 Gold plus Purple Crystals, Fire Essences, Star Crystals, a Red Gem, and Purple Shards.
Run the Moonless Sky Rift Universal Tear, Act 1: Reaper Tear, to farm the Black Orb (2%) and the Black Sword (5%). Yhwach also drops from this same rift.
Evolve the Rage form into Moonless Transcendent, the Boundless version. This costs 50,000 Gold plus Purple Crystals, the Black Orb, Star Crystals, a Red Gem, the Black Sword, and Purple Shards.

Summer Event exclusives: Ashen Valkyrie and Azuron

The two exclusive units are bought with Summer Currency rather than summoned or dropped. The whole flow starts at the Ashen Valkyrie NPC standing in the lobby.

Interact with the Ashen Valkyrie NPC to open the Summer Mode prompt, then click Create to load the Summer Event (Act 1).
Clear the Summer Event runs to earn Summer Currency, the card-based mode’s main reward.
Spend that Summer Currency in the Summer Shop to buy the exclusive Ashen Valkyrie and Azuron units.

The same event tab also feeds a Calendar Event Shop, where the Summer Skin Crate costs 5,000 Summer Currency, and the Valkyrie Gadget runs 100,000 Summer Currency.

How to confirm a unit unlocked

A successful drop or summon lands the unit in your Inventory, where you can equip it or feed it into an evolution. For the evolution units, check that both the base form and the evolved form appear in the inventory before spending Gold, since the Evolution menu will not let the upgrade proceed until every listed material and the correct fodder unit are present. If a farm run gives nothing, the drop simply missed its roll, so repeat the stage rather than assuming a bug. Trickster Phantom and any other pity-tracked unit is guaranteed once its run counter fills, even after a streak of empty clears.
