- RegionValley of Ashes
Guidepost is a Lantern in the Valley of Ashes, a region that opens during chapter 2 of the main quest, REGROUP. As at any Lantern, you can rest and level up here, and once it is unlocked you can fast travel to it. Other Lanterns of the Valley of Ashes sit close by: The Climb lies about 100 m away in a straight line, Demolished Path about 170 m, and The Other Side about 290 m.
Near the Lantern you can pick up 3 Uncommon Catalyst Clots and a Nephtoglobin Vial before heading out. Collect them while you are here, then use The Climb, the nearest of the neighbouring Lanterns, as your next point to rest and level up.
