Honkai: Star Rail 4.5 — To Roll the Stars in Astropolis Walkthrough

A start-to-finish route through every Astropolis sub-mission, its Interplanar Jump mechanics, and the All-You-Can-Lose Challenge.

A start-to-finish route through every Astropolis sub-mission, its Interplanar Jump mechanics, and the All-You-Can-Lose Challenge.

The Trailblaze Continuance “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis” picks up right after the Express crew’s win over Lord Ravager Asat Pramad. The Voracity husk stirs, Planarcadia falls into fresh danger, and the crew boards the Astral Express to reach Astropolis, the vacation hub and headquarters of the Interastral Peace Entertainment. The full run spans two regions, five linked missions, and several 2D platforming detours before the credits on the questline roll.

Quick answer: Play the missions in this order — Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?, Regarding the Pain of Others, The Conspiracy of Art, The Flesh of Images, the four-day All-You-Can-Lose Challenge, then The Challenge Ends, and Now… Follow each quest marker, clear the Interplanar Jump portals along the way, and the questline completes when you speak with Robin and Aventurine at the pit garage.

Before you start

Version 4.5 went live on August 26, 2026 across PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. The Continuance follows the conclusion of the Planarcadia journey, so finish that region’s main story first to unlock it. The route moves from Planarcadia’s Desolate Maw’s Demonhold out to Astropolis, taking in Seaside Park, the Astropolis Central District, Lodestar Tower, and Skycall Aery.

Tip: Version 4.5 adds a toggle to speed up story dialogue, which you can switch on or off at any point during conversations. It helps trim the long cutscene stretches in this questline.

Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? (escape Planarcadia)

Begin at Desolate Maw’s Demonhold in Planarcadia and speak with Asat Pramad to trigger the opening cutscene. This sets up the Voracity crisis that forces the evacuation.
Follow the marker toward Perdido Station to outrun the awakening husk. Along the way you enter an Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III portal for a short 2D platforming segment before reaching the safe zone.

At Perdido Station, speak with Pearl to learn the evacuation plan, then race the clock to say goodbye to Stationmaster Meowton, Kuchiba, and Ashveil before boarding the Astral Express.
After the warp cutscene, head from the Parlor Car to the Party Car to reassure the gathered civilians. A second cutscene brings the Express into Seaside Park in Astropolis, closing out the first mission.

Regarding the Pain of Others (Seaside Park to the Upside-Down Restaurant)

Talk to Owlbert at Seaside Park to begin. Enter the next Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III portal, which introduces the Sprint mechanic for dashing through platforms, spikes, and fragile modules.

Exit and speak with Jade, then enter another portal that adds the Aesthetic Window mechanic, which swaps the positions of designated screen frames to change the platforming layout. During this stretch you can grab the Bouncy Me achievement.
After the portal, meet the field specialist Ghost Skott, then head to the Upside-Down Restaurant. Inside, the Dream Gravitation mechanic lets you walk along the walls.

Search the restaurant for Skott, picking up the Astropolis Lifestyle Guide (Issue 314) as you explore. Find Skott’s sunglasses, confront Kenneth Arita, then run to help March 7th and fight the Astropolis Sentinels. The superhero Lighthouse arrives in a cutscene.
Go to the ferry station, examine the poster, and buy a boarding pass to Lodestar Tower. Wait for the shuttle, ride it up, and the mission pauses here. It resumes later once the Astropolis story advances.

The Conspiracy of Art, The Flesh of Images (Lodestar Tower)

Ask at the Lodestar Tower front desk, then go to office B7-03 to meet Nihilux. A cutscene shows the Turbos crafting sensationalized media reports before you head to the Panorama Hall for the Pan-Cosmic Trade Summit.
Move to the “Keeping Up With Star Rail” studio and talk to Lilite, then search the Broadcast Hall for a way out, collecting editing materials along the route. This is where the window-control puzzle appears.

Enter the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty II portal, which introduces the Gravity Ring mechanic and password puzzles. Jumping into a Gravity Ring alters gravity so you can walk along its surface, and the puzzle prompts want dial-pad codes.

Exit the portal, help March 7th, and push through the security forces in a battle cutscene. Return to the Panorama Hall to confront Yannick and Kenneth, which triggers the boss battle against Lighthouse.
Follow Kenneth to Skycall Aery. The encanvas plan is approved in a cutscene, and a cinematic shows the sealing of the Voracity husk. Afterward, Regarding the Pain of Others resumes: return to the Upside-Down Restaurant to meet Nihilux, then head to the pit garage to speak with Robin and Aventurine.

All-You-Can-Lose Challenge (spend 20 billion credits)

This multi-day challenge tasks you with spending 20 billion credits through extravagant purchases. Each in-game day opens a new objective, and the money is spent through scripted activities rather than a free-form shop.

DayWhat to do
Day 1Head to the nearest mall. Smash collectibles at the Aetherium Wars Specialty Store to spend 200 million credits, buy a “Lighthouse” Vocalist miniature for 120 million, purchase a memorial plot from Kenneth Arita for 1.5 billion, then negotiate with Marah to poach talent.
Day 2Go to the Upside-Down Restaurant for lunch with Robin, find her, and play a piano duet together.
Day 3Head to the private auction, speak with the auctioneer to enter, then bid against Aventurine in the auction hall.
Final DayFind the exit of the Hidden Footage Review Room, gather editing materials while dodging debt-collection pop-ups, edit the footage at the computer, escape through the “Unsafe Exit” wall, and fight past the guards.

After the Final Day escape and its battle cutscene, meet Robin at the transit dock, find Ratile at Seaside Park, and head to the racing broadcast studio to close out the challenge.

Interplanar Jump! mechanics reference

How to know the questline is complete

The finale, The Challenge Ends, and Now…, starts once the challenge concludes at the racing broadcast studio. Speak with Robin and Aventurine at the pit garage to finish the mission. When that final conversation ends, the Trailblaze Continuance is marked complete and the associated achievements register. If the mission does not advance, check that every objective marker has been cleared, since each platforming portal and cutscene must be finished before the next segment opens.
