Fentuft is the fluffy little Electric flier you bump into early in Driftwise Meadow, and its line is refreshingly short. There is exactly one evolution to chase, it lands on Fenmane, and it is gated behind a social requirement that catches a lot of solo Pathfinders off guard.
Quick answer: Raise a Fentuft to Aniimo level 42, exchange an Aniimo with a friend once to unlock the evolution, then pay Roar Stone x1 to turn it into Fenmane.
Fentuft evolution requirements
The evolution has three parts, and all three have to be satisfied before the option appears. Missing the friend exchange is the usual holdup, because it has nothing to do with the creature you are levelling.
- Aniimo level 42 on the Fentuft you want to evolve.
- Unlock condition: exchange an Aniimo with a friend once. The game frames it as watching Pathfinders trade Aniimo and strengthen their friendship.
- Evolution cost: Roar Stone x1.
The exchange only needs to happen once, on your account. It does not have to involve a Fentuft, and you do not need to repeat it for a second Fentuft later.

How to confirm Fenmane evolved correctly
Fenmane registers as a stage 3 Electric DPS in the Aniilog, entry No. 60, and its height jumps from 0.7 m to 1 m while the weight stays at 6 kg. Its element level also climbs from 1 to 3.
The clearest check is the skill list. Two abilities that Fentuft never had, Thunder Imprint and Thunderfeather Volley, should now be sitting in the kit alongside Thunder Field and Lightning Dart. If those two are missing, you are still looking at the pre-evolution form.

Fentuft and Fenmane base stats
| Stat | Fentuft | Fenmane |
|---|---|---|
| HP | 85 | 100 |
| Attack | 106 | 125 |
| Magic attack | 106 | 125 |
| Defense | 60 | 70 |
| Magic defense | 60 | 70 |
| BP attack | 41 | 50 |
| EP regen | 77 | 90 |
| Base total | 429 | 505 |
Every line moves up, but the shape of the creature does not change. It is still a magic-leaning ranged damage dealer with soft defenses and a weak break stat, so it wants a team that handles staggering for it.
Fenmane skills and the Thunderbond trait
| Skill | Power | EP cost | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| ATK | 6 | — | — |
| Thunder Field | 1 | 20 | 8s |
| Lightning Dart | 50 | 20 | 5s |
| Thunder Imprint | 1 | 30 | 10s |
| Thunderfeather Volley | 100 | 0 | 8s |
Fentuft only carries the first three entries on that list, which is why the pre-evolution form feels thin in longer fights. Its mobility skill is Scurry, a short forward dash, and that carries over unchanged.
Thunder Field is the setup piece. It drops a field that trails the target, and any Electric hit landing inside it triggers a bonus Electric hit plus a stack of Lightning Debuff, no more than once every 0.2 seconds. The field lasts 8 seconds.
Thunder Imprint is the payoff. For 8 seconds it banks the damage of every hit on the target, then dumps the whole total at once when the buff ends, and recasting it detonates the stored damage early. If the target is sitting on 10 stacks of Lightning Debuff, those stacks are consumed for an extra 100 percent damage, which is exactly why Thunder Field goes down first.
Thunderbond is the passive trait shared across the family. Each landed attack adds one stack, and at 30 stacks the next skill or Ultimate enters Thunderwing Stance for 10 seconds. That stance matters for Thunderfeather Volley, which normally fires five lightning arrows but adds five more and finishes with explosion damage equal to 20 Might while the stance is active.
Fenmane (Prismana) form and how it differs
Fenmane (Prismana) is not something you can evolve into. It only shows up during Prismana Flows, the regional events that raise your chances of running into Prismana creatures. Those can occur on their own, or you can bring one on by cultivating Prismatic Energy.
The candy-coloured version shares the same 505 base stat spread, but it runs dual Electric and Holy typing at element level 4 instead of pure Electric at level 3. That typing unlocks Radiant Dart, a Holy skill with 35 power, a 20 EP cost, and a 10-second cooldown. It pierces along its path and stacks Healing Reduction up to 16 times, each stack cutting healing received by 5 percent for 20 seconds. The base form does not learn it.

Encountering a Prismana Form Fenmane is itself one of the Aniilog observation goals for the standard Fenmane, so a Prismana Flow sighting ticks off two things at once.
Electric and Holy damage multipliers
| Attack element | 1.6x damage | 0.625x damage |
|---|---|---|
| Electric | Water, Wind | Electric, Ice, Rock |
| Holy | Dark, Wind | Electric, Holy |
Everything not listed takes normal damage. Wind targets are the overlap, taking 1.6x from both halves of the Prismana form’s kit, while Electric enemies resist the entire line and are the worst matchup you can walk a Fenmane into.
Where to find Fentuft in Driftwise Meadow
Both stages of the family live in Driftwise Meadow, part of the Breezy Plains region. Habitat is only one of the spawn conditions, though, so weather and time of day also decide whether anything shows up on a given pass.
Two Aniilog observation goals are attached to the pre-evolution form, and both are worth clearing before you hit level 42, since the entry changes once it evolves.
- Witness Fentuft freeing you from sorrow.
- Photograph Fentuft trying hard to fly.
That is the whole line. Fenmane is the end of it, with no further stage recorded, so once the Roar Stone is spent your only remaining variable is whether you eventually run into the Prismana version during a Flow.
