Amber is a crafting material pulled from the Shroud, the toxic fog that spreads across the world of Enshrouded. It comes out of large orange growths that cling to rocks and roots, and you harvest it with a pickaxe.

Quick answer: Reach Revelwood’s Ancient Spire via fast travel, then glide into the Shroud beneath it and use a pickaxe to harvest the orange, bubbling formations on stones and roots.

Where Amber grows

Amber forms inside the Shroud as big orange, lumpy clusters that bubble out across rocks and the thick roots down in the fog. The in-game description reads: “Created through years of petrification, it has become a beautiful material used for production.”

The Revelwood holds a reliable concentration of these clusters, reachable by dropping into the fog beneath the Ancient Spire. Each cluster you break gives several Amber.

How to mine Amber in the Revelwood

Bring up your map and travel to Revelwood’s Ancient Spire. You arrive on the tower’s rooftop platform, overlooking the forested valley below.

Glide off the spire and down into the Shroud below. The moment you enter the fog, the Shroud timer begins counting down.

Scan the rocks and big roots in the fog for the orange, bubbly clusters. Equip a pickaxe and strike them using the “Mine” prompt. Each swing drops Amber into your pickup list, and a single cluster yields several pieces.

Keep an eye on the Shroud timer the whole time you mine. Leave the fog before it runs out.
