Enshrouded 1.0: How to Get Fell Heart

Fell Heart is a level 25 Uncommon crafting material that drops from Fell Sporeheads and Fell Sporeseekers you kill inside the Shroud. It cannot be crafted at a station and it cannot be bought from a trader, so the only route is combat. Item text: “The faded heart of a Fell Foe. Its potent essence is key in crafting resilient armor and powerful healing spells.”

Quick answer: Kill Fell Sporeheads or Fell Sporeseekers inside the Shroud. Each kill drops 1 Fell Heart plus 2 Shroud Particles.

Where Fell Sporeheads spawn

Fell Sporeheads are spore-headed Fell, and they stand with other Fell deep inside Shroud zones. Because they live in the Shroud, your Shroud timer counts down the whole time you fight them. The Kindlewastes holds more Fell Sporehead spawn points than any other region, which makes it the most dependable place to farm.

How to farm Fell Heart in the Kindlewastes

The Kindlewastes has the greatest number of Fell Sporeheads; enter one of its Shroud zones.

Kill every spore-headed Fell you find. Each one you drop gives 1 Fell Heart and 2 Shroud Particles.

The pickup list appears on the left of the screen, showing Shroud Particles ×2 and Fell Heart after a kill. Search the Fell corpses you pass for Corrosive Blood as well.

Get out of the Shroud before its timer expires, or touch a Shroud time capsule (the hourglass) to add time.

Fell Heart is not Bursting Fell Heart

Check the material name before crafting. Bursting Fell Heart is its own level 40 resource, dropped by those same two enemy types later in the game. Item text: “It’s oozing, unaturally enlarged, and still beating whenever you dare to look away. This heart’s potent essence is a key ingredient in crafting resilient armor.” It is used in advanced spells and armor, including Heal Cascade II, Eternal Heal Beam I, Protective Barrier, the Golden Bulwark Chestplate and the Tidecaller Tunic.
