In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ, Triangulation is order 03 on DMZ ORDERS PG 2, under the chapter CH. UNDERGROUND 1/2, after Eye in the Sky and Watch for Bumps in the Underground orders. It takes three transmitter placements: two on radio towers and the last on the antenna on top of La Grande Vie in Songdo Wharf.
Quick answer: Put a transmitter at the summit of each of two radio towers marked as order objectives. Next, use the elevator in La Grande Vie in Songdo Wharf, climb the stairs to its roof, and set the last transmitter on the antenna.
Triangulation order tasks
The order lists two objectives, and you can work through them in that order:
- Place a Transmitter on Top of 2 Radio Towers (2/2)
- Place a Transmitter on Top of La Grande Vie in Songdo Wharf
Pin the order before you open the tac map. The radio towers that count for Triangulation carry an ORDER OBJECTIVE marker, and you can ping them to set a route.

The five radio towers below work for the order. You need any two of them, so pick the pair closest to your route.
| Tower | Where it stands | How to get up |
|---|---|---|
| South Korean Border Zone | Woods between Imjin Suburb and Mujin Pass | Yellow ladder inside the tower |
| South Island | Above the park area | Yellow ladder up the middle |
| Construction Zone | Rooftop of a tower block beside a gas station | Yellow rope up the building’s side |
| Deadtown | Tall tower, threat LOW | Ladders through each platform stage |
| North Korean Wilderness | Lattice of girders | Jumps and mantles along the girders |
The South Korean Border Zone tower sits among red-leaved trees. At both the Border Zone and South Island, the yellow ladder runs straight up to the platform.

The Construction Zone tower is different. It stands on top of a building, so you grab the yellow rope hanging down the side, climb to the roof, and then walk over to the antenna. At Deadtown, the climb is ladders only, stage by stage, all the way up.
Reaching the North Korean Wilderness tower means climbing without a straightforward ladder. Use the girders to jump and mantle upward, then pull yourself up by catching the horizontal bars from the side. At the summit, you’ll find a TOWER CRATE; press the crane button (PRESS BUTTON) for a fast descent.
Placing a radio transmitter on a tower
At the top of a tower, face the mast until the “PLACE RADIO TRANSMITTER” prompt appears, then hold the interact prompt. The first objective’s counter ticks to 1/2, and then to 2/2 after the second tower.

To get down, jump off and deploy your parachute, or use the crane button on towers that have one.
La Grande Vie in Songdo Wharf: Final transmitter
In Songdo Wharf, La Grande Vie is a tall residential tower near the waterfront on the map’s eastern side. The area has a LOW threat level.

If you have already finished the other two orders on the page, placing this transmitter also completes the chapter page. A LEVEL UP / NEW REWARDS banner appears on screen.
