Northern Tracks sits in the north of Pendola Pass, the map that arrived with the 2.0 update, Frozen Trail. Dispatch Tower is about 80 m away, with Frozen River and Researcher Lodgings a short way further off.

In an ordinary round the area has 13 container spots. Most are possible spots, and a round fills only some of them. Worn Backpacks are the most common at 4, alongside 2 Weapon Cases, 2 Grenade Tubes and 2 Wasp Husks, plus a single Raider Cache, Ammo Box and Damaged Emperor Relay. A Snitch can spawn here, and there are areas for small flying, small ground and boss machines; which one shows up varies from round to round. There is also a Supply Call Station.

The Northern Transceiver is the closest way out, about 110 m away, with the Supermarket Transceiver at about 320 m as a fallback. Husk Graveyard rounds bring 3 spots of their own here, and some other map conditions bring 2.
