The Ammo Box is a loot container you open for supplies, and it turns up on seven maps. Pendola Pass has the most spots in an ordinary round with 69, ahead of Spaceport with 45, Stella Montis with 42 and Dam Battlegrounds with 39. Buried City has 36, The Blue Gate 31 and Riven Tides 28.
Not every spot is filled each round: the game picks which boxes appear when the round starts. On Pendola Pass the spots fall into 9 groups, and in the biggest one a round fills 4 to 5 of its 15 spots. Each box holds 1 to 2 item stacks, and what's inside changes between rounds. On Pendola Pass, check Old Town (10) and Railyard (8) first. On Spaceport, try Arrival Building (8). On Stella Montis, go to Security Bridge (6). On Dam Battlegrounds, look in Research & Administration (5), and on Buried City, start with Piazza Arbusto (5).
Close Scrutiny rounds have 39 spots of their own, most of them on The Blue Gate (13) and Dam Battlegrounds (11). Certain other conditions bring 8 spots, on Spaceport and Pendola Pass.
