Weapons in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse turn up in chests, and the maps show 24 spots where you can open one. Each weapon carries a tier, from Ordinary through Refined and Masterpiece to Legendary. Ordinary weapons such as the Whip show ATK 25 on their card, Refined ones such as the Thorn Whip show 50, Masterpiece ones such as the Morning Star show 75, and Legendary ones such as the Vampire Killer and Excalibur show 100.

Main Hall and Clock Tower have the most weapon chests, with 4 spots each. Paris Streets, Holy Innocents' Cemetery, the Catacombs of Paris, Notre-Dame and the Library hold 3 apiece, and the Hall of Mirrors has 1.
