The Harpysnare Smoke Beacon is an implement for luring harpies. Lit at the right kind of spot, its smoke gives off a smell that harpies are drawn to, and any nearby harpies gather close to where you set it off.

You can buy it from Montgomery and Evo. Beyond the shops, the map has 12 treasure chests containing it, with 1 chest each around Borderwatch Outpost, Checkpoint Rest Town, Collapsed Mine, Frontier Shrine and Riverside Ruins, so those spots make easy stops if you are already passing through. There is also 1 spot where it lies in the open, ready to pick up.
