Fisch Roblox: How to Get the Cloud Glider

The Hayate Idol's Swift Swimmer quest on Skyrest Island hands over the Cloud Glider for a single fish.

The Hayate Idol’s Swift Swimmer quest on Skyrest Island hands over the Cloud Glider for a single fish.

The Cloud Glider is a Skyrest Island reward, and it does not sit in a shop or drop from a rare catch. It comes from the Hayate Idol, an NPC stationed by the windmill, and the only thing standing between you and it is one specific fish.

Quick answer: Talk to the Hayate Idol near the windmill on Skyrest Island to start the “Swift Swimmer” quest, catch either a Rose Gold Fairy Wrasse or a Vibranium Fairy Wrasse, then return and hand it in to receive the Cloud Glider.

Cloud Glider requirements in Fisch

Everything you need is contained in a single quest. There is no cash cost, no token price, and no long questline in front of it — “Swift Swimmer” is the first quest in the Hayate Idol chain.

DetailWhat it is
ItemCloud Glider
QuestSwift Swimmer
Quest giverHayate Idol
LocationSkyrest Island, beside the windmill
Fish neededRose Gold Fairy Wrasse or Vibranium Fairy Wrasse (one only)
RewardCloud Glider, plus Idol Favor toward the Hayate Idol

Note: the two fish are alternatives, not a checklist. Whichever one you land first ends the requirement.

Find the Hayate Idol on Skyrest Island

Travel to Skyrest Island and head toward the windmill. The Hayate Idol sits right by it, and the in-game prompt spells this out plainly: “The Hayate idol’s by the windmill. Satisfy it and the charm is yours.”
Interact with the idol to open its dialogue. Accepting starts “Swift Swimmer” and adds it to your quest tracker, so you can check the objective at any point while you fish.

Read the objective before you leave. It names both accepted fish, which is worth confirming so you do not waste time chasing the wrong wrasse variant.

Catch a Rose Gold or Vibranium Fairy Wrasse

Equip your rod and start fishing. Both accepted fish are variants, so expect a run of ordinary catches before the right one appears in the results banner.
Play the reeling minigame carefully on every bite. Holding the control bar steady keeps the marker inside the catch zone, and losing a hooked variant means restarting the wait.

Watch the catch notification each time a fish lands. Fisch prints the full name and weight on screen, so you will see the exact moment a Rose Gold Fairy Wrasse or Vibranium Fairy Wrasse comes in rather than having to dig through your inventory.
Keep the fish in your inventory. Do not sell it at a merchant on the way back, since the turn-in pulls the catch directly from what you are carrying.

Turn in the fish and confirm the Cloud Glider unlocked

Return to the windmill and speak to the Hayate Idol again with the wrasse on you. The idol takes the fish and completes “Swift Swimmer” on the spot.

You will know it worked from three things happening together. The quest disappears from your tracker as completed, an Idol Favor gain appears on screen for the Hayate Idol, and the Cloud Glider lands in your inventory ready to equip.

If nothing triggers, the cause is almost always one of two mistakes. Either the quest was never accepted from the idol in the first place, or the fish was sold, stored, or otherwise removed before you spoke to it again.

Using the Cloud Glider

Slot the Cloud Glider into your hotbar, then jump before activating it. Like other gliders in Fisch, it will not deploy while you are standing on solid ground, so you need to be airborne — dropping from the higher ledges around Skyrest Island gives you the cleanest launch and the longest flight.

Once open, it carries you across the island’s gaps and down from elevated ground without a boat. That makes moving between fishing spots on and around Skyrest considerably faster than walking the long way around.

Cloud Glider vs the other gliders in Fisch

Fisch has several flight items and they are easy to mix up, especially since players often just say “glider.” The Cloud Glider is the Hayate Idol reward and is separate from the others.

ItemHow you get it
Cloud GliderComplete Swift Swimmer for the Hayate Idol on Skyrest Island
GliderBuy for 900 Tokens at Roslit Bay or the Desolate Pocket merchant
Advanced GliderBuy for 2,500 cash at the Summit on Northern Expedition
Hang GliderComplete the first Mysterious Songstress quest at the Underground Music Venue

That distinction matters if your actual goal is the sky area. Reaching Above the Clouds runs through the Hang Glider and the ring course launched from Castaway Cliffs, not the Cloud Glider.

Since “Swift Swimmer” is only the opening step of the Hayate Idol chain, the Cloud Glider doubles as your entry point into the rest of that questline and the Idol Favor attached to it. Grab the wrasse, hand it over, and the glider is yours in a single trip to the windmill.
