Quick answer: Hyjal Summit sits at the peak of Mount Hyjal near Nordrassil. It is a level 60, 20-player raid that opens on 9 December 2026.
When does Hyjal Summit open?
Hyjal Summit unlocks in World of Warcraft: Forever on 9 December 2026, and it is not open yet. It arrives on the same day as two other raids, so that date brings three new raids for level 60 groups.
- Hyjal Summit: 20 players
- Barrow Deeps: 10 players, 8 bosses, also in Mount Hyjal
- Onyxia’s Lair: 40 players
These raids are on a weekly reset schedule, so your group can clear Hyjal Summit once per weekly lockout.
Where is Hyjal Summit?
The raid sits atop Mount Hyjal, beside the World Tree Nordrassil. A new WoW Forever zone, Mount Hyjal has a leveling arc that resumes after Archimonde falls; Cenarion Circle druids have made the route into Hyjal accessible.

The Wild King also appears in the Mount Hyjal zone story, alongside warlock activity, so leveling through the zone shows you the threats you face again inside the raid.
Hyjal Summit bosses
This list is not a run order, and some entries are groups or events rather than single bosses.
- Bandalar
- Ancient of Decay
- Time-Lost Battalion
- Sylvestris Dusksong
- Old Gloomlurker
- Gharalis the Abyssal
- Kathris the Haunted
- Anara Chillwind
- Elder Minderel
- Tracker Stillwind
- Council of Thorns
- Nythus the Dreambound
- The Wild King
How the Hyjal Summit raid is laid out
Hyjal Summit does not run as one straight corridor. It opens with a fight against an ancient guardian. After that, the raid splits into several paths across the mountain, and you choose which one to take.
Those paths lead through ruins both above and below ground as your group pushes back the forces threatening Hyjal. Clearing them opens the way to the final encounters. Choose your route and coordinate with your raid.
How to prepare for Hyjal Summit
Your character needs to be level 60 to join. After that, most of the preparation goes through professions, and both Mount Hyjal raids share it.
Hyjal flasks from Alchemy
Four level 60 Alchemy flasks are tuned for this area. Each one gives +30 Stamina for 2 hours. Each also adds a bonus that only works in Mount Hyjal, Hyjal Summit and the Barrow Deeps.
| Flask | Raid bonus (Mount Hyjal, Hyjal Summit, Barrow Deeps) | Reagents |
|---|---|---|
Flask of Natural Accuracy | +30 Stamina everywhere, plus 2% Hit Chance in these three areas | Death Lotus, Demonsage x12, Golden Sansam x9, Imbued Vial |
Flask of Natural Aggression | +30 Stamina everywhere, plus 2% Critical Strike Chance in these three areas | Death Lotus, Demonsage x18, Mountain Silversage x6, Imbued Vial |
Flask of Natural Precision | +30 Stamina everywhere, plus 2% reduced chance to be dodged or parried in these three areas | Death Lotus, Marefoil x12, Dreamfoil x9, Imbued Vial |
Flask of Natural Swiftness | +30 Stamina everywhere, plus 2% Haste in these three areas | Death Lotus, Marefoil x18, Icecap x6, Imbued Vial |
A flask’s effect remains after death, but you can have only one active at once. Each flask is an Alchemy recipe learned at skill 300 from a “Recipe:” item. All the recipes require one Death Lotus and an Imbued Vial, along with other herbs, so stock up before 9 December 2026.
