Cold Snap brings snowfall and a sharp drop in temperature to a round, and the cold itself deals damage. In return, loot is worth more, and Candleberry bushes carry fruit you can harvest. It sits at difficulty 3 of 5.
Cold Snap rounds have 1,123 spots of their own, on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport and The Blue Gate. Snow Piles are the most common, with Spaceport holding 225 and The Blue Gate 204. Baskets of Fruit are most plentiful on Spaceport at 76 and Dam Battlegrounds at 74. Raider Caches turn up on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City and The Blue Gate, with Dam Battlegrounds holding the most at 47. On Dam Battlegrounds, the Hydroponic Dome Complex has the most Snow Piles at 18, ahead of Research & Administration at 12 and Red Lakes Balcony at 11.
