South Swamp Outpost is a named place in the west of Dam Battlegrounds, about 110 m from Swamp and around 200 m from Old Battleground.

In an ordinary round it holds 9 container spots, led by 3 Rocketeer Husks and 2 Medical Bags. A Weapon Case, an Ammo Box, a Raider Cache and an ARC Courier make up the rest. Most of these are possible spots, and a round fills only some of them. There are also 4 Field Crates. An ARC Surveyor has a spawn point here, though not every round uses it. 2 areas can put up small flying machines, and which machine shows up varies from round to round.

The nearest way out is Good Old Baron's Hatch, a Raider Hatch about 190 m away in a straight line. Central Swamp Lift is about 260 m off. Cold Snap rounds bring 10 container spots of their own here, and Lush Blooms rounds have 3.
