In-game description
Threshing Blaze is an Implement, a grimoire that unleashes High Salamander the moment it is opened. Because the book does the casting, any character can use it, including fighters and other vocations that cannot wield magick themselves, which makes it a way to bring flame into a fight without a spellcaster in the party.
The map has 10 spots where Threshing Blaze lies ready to pick up. Bakbattahl holds 3 of them, and single copies sit near Frostglen Shrine, Harve Village, Norgandian Settlement and the Old Villageward Path. It also turns up in 12 treasure chests, with one each around the Arboreal Ruins, Bakbattahl, the Bridge of Theodracus the Second, Dragonsbreath Tower and Ettam Forest. Barbatos, the Lost Mercenary and Skeletons drop it. To buy one instead, visit Eldart's Apothecary or the Rare Book Stand, or trade with Domingo, Elsa or Morgus.
