Roblox Backrooms Morphs 2: How to Get All 4 New Badges

Exact routes for Green Imposter Survivor, Red Bird, The Crab, and Space Guy, plus the 0242 code location.

Exact routes for Green Imposter Survivor, Red Bird, The Crab, and Space Guy, plus the 0242 code location.

Four new morph badges landed in Backrooms Morphs 2, and each one sits behind a different map and a different trigger. Green Imposter Survivor and The Crab are simple touch-the-NPC unlocks, Red Bird is a trophy pickup, and Space Guy needs a numbered code tool carried between two areas. Every unlock is repeatable knowledge, so once you know the route each badge takes under a minute.

Quick answer: Touch the green imposter past the TURTLE hole, grab the trophy past the TURN AROUND! sign in Game Madness, box-press the plate near Mr. Krabs, and use the 0242 code in OldHallway.

The Badges menu lists a short hint for each one, such as “Near the sewer” for Green Imposter Survivor and “Use the secret code to obtain him” for Space Guy. Those hints are the only in-game pointer you get, so the routes below fill in the rest.

Green Imposter Survivor: sewer route past the TURTLE hole

From the lobby, walk into the yellow door labelled SmudgeCatRoblox. This is the entry point for the whole sewer stretch, and there is no teleport shortcut to it.
Run straight through the corridor past the Ben and Floppa decals. Black arrows painted on the walls point toward the next drop, so follow them rather than exploring side rooms.
Drop down the hole marked TURTLE. You land in the lower sewer section where the badge NPC waits.
Walk up to the green spider-like Among Us character standing beside the sewer grate. Touching it fires the SKIN UNLOCKED screen for Green Imposter Survivor, which is your confirmation the badge registered.

Red Bird: trophy behind the TURN AROUND! sign

Red Bird is the fastest of the four. It is a single trophy pickup with no tools, no puzzle, and no prerequisites beyond reaching the right hallway.

Open the teleport menu and select Game Madness. You arrive at the start of a long corridor.
Keep running down the hallway. The wall writing that reads TURN AROUND! is decoration, not a warning about a dead end, so push past it.
Turn the corner and touch the yellow trophy on the pedestal. The SKIN UNLOCKED banner for Red Bird appears immediately, and the morph then shows up in your Morphs list.

The Crab: box puzzle in the Floppa area

This route is worth doing carefully because the same room hands out two badges. The gate only opens while weight sits on the pressure plate, so the box is the whole puzzle.

Head to the Floppa area and crouch to crawl under the low table. The Box tool is on the floor underneath it.
Pick up the box and carry it to the red pressure plate sitting under the black pipe. The on-screen Drop (X) prompt is what you use to release it onto the plate.

With the plate weighted, the metal gate lifts. Walk into the room before anything moves the box off the plate.
Touch the yellow trophy in the corner first. That awards Mommy Long Legs, a bonus skin most players miss on the way past.
Walk into the giant Mr. Krabs NPC at the back of the room. The unlock registers as Mr. Krabs and equips as The Crab morph.

Space Guy: the 0242 code from Spawn to OldHallway

Space Guy is the only badge of the four that spans two maps. You collect a code tool in one place and insert it in another, and the badge hint in the menu only tells you a secret code is involved.

Teleport to Spawn and find the yellow “Infinite health” item. Walk behind it and squeeze into the hidden gap in the wall.
Pick up the code tool lying on the floor inside. It is labelled 0242 and appears in your hotbar as a New Tool.
Teleport to OldHallway. The code tool stays with you through the teleport, so there is no need to backtrack.
Swim across the flooded section, climb the ladder on the far side, and go through the door at the top.
Find the slot in the wall with 0242 written above it and use the code tool on it. Space Guy unlocks on the spot.

Check the number above the wall slot matches the tool you are holding before using it. The written digits are the game’s own confirmation that you are at the right panel.

How to confirm a badge unlocked

Every one of these unlocks produces the same pair of signals. A SKIN UNLOCKED or Badge Awarded banner appears the moment you touch the trophy, NPC, or code slot, and the skin is then permanently listed in the Morphs menu where you can equip it.

  • SKIN UNLOCKED banner on contact with the trophy or NPC
  • Badge Awarded pop-up in the corner of the screen
  • The new morph appears in the Morphs menu and can be equipped
  • The Badges menu entry stops showing as an unclaimed hint

Free morph codes in Backrooms Morphs 2

Separate from badge hunting, the game has redeemable codes that hand over skins outright. Click the Codes icon on the left side of the screen, type the code into the text box, and press Redeem. Codes are case sensitive, so enter them exactly as written.

Once all four badges are claimed, the morphs behave like any other skin in your collection. You can swap between Green Imposter Survivor, Red Bird, The Crab, and Space Guy from the Morphs menu at any point, and the Mommy Long Legs trophy picked up on the way to Mr. Krabs comes along free.
