Amethyst is a purple crystal in Enshrouded that you break out of the ground with your pickaxe. Its item text reads, “A beautiful mineral, usually found beneath the Shroud. Its color can range from a deep and saturated royal purple to a light, lavender hue.” It sits as a level 33 Common material and stacks to 250, and you will want a healthy supply before pushing your Flame Altar higher.

Quick answer: Use fast travel to reach the Ancient Spire in the Albaneve Summits, then glide down into the Shroud and use your pickaxe on the dark purple crystal clusters. Scavengers also drop it.

Mine Amethyst in the Albaneve Summits

The deposits are dark purple crystal clusters that grow inside the Shroud areas of the Albaneve Summits.

Bring up the map, then use fast travel to reach the Ancient Spire in the Albaneve Summits.

Amethyst from Scavengers

Scavengers are a second supply line and turn up most often in the Albaneve Summits and the Kindlewastes. Several of them can drop Amethyst when killed, and their searchable corpses sometimes hold a little more.
