Where the Poses button sits, how to hold and stop a pose, what each free pose looks like, and what pose packs cost.

Dress To Impress gives you 22 Solo poses for the runway, and on our account all of them worked with 0 stars and nothing bought. They sit behind one button on the right side of the screen. Below is how to open them, a picture of every pose, what the pose packs in the shop cost, and what “Pose 28” is.

Quick answer: Press the gold figure button, the lowest round button on the right of the screen, to open the Poses panel, then click any of the 22 free Solo poses. Click the lit tile again to stop.

How to pose in Dress To Impress

Find the three round buttons stacked on the right side of the screen. The white hat button is on top, the trophy button is in the middle, and the Poses button with the gold figure icon is at the bottom.
Press the gold figure button to open the “Poses” panel. It has a Search Bar, arrows, and four tabs: “Solo”, “Duo”, a gold star, and a shopping-bag icon.
The Poses panel open on the Solo tab with the Search Bar, Solo, Duo, star and bag tabs, and the gold figure button lowest on the right
The "Poses" panel on the Solo tab. The gold figure button is the lowest round button on the right.
Stay on the “Solo” tab and click a pose name. Your character takes that pose and holds it, and the pose’s tile turns a lighter shade to show it’s active.

Satin picked: the character holds the pose and the Satin tile turns lighter.
Close the panel with the heart X at the bottom whenever you’re done browsing. The pose keeps playing after the panel closes, and it also keeps playing while the panel is open, so you can try several poses in a row before you shut it.

To drop a pose, click its highlighted tile a second time. Walking also ends it, and so does holding S to turn toward the camera.

Fast clicks one after another were often ignored for us. If a new pose won’t take, turn the current one off, wait about 4 seconds, then click the next one. That worked every time.

All 22 free Solo poses in Dress To Impress

These are the Solo poses from top to bottom, in the order the list shows them; scroll the list to reach the last one, Magica. A small star sits at the right end of each tile. The descriptions come from our own runway pictures of each pose.

Some poses can be difficult to distinguish at a distance. Dazzle and Harmony both place one hand across the front of the waist, but Harmony angles a hip farther out. Blossom, Shimmer, and Chic each use a hand-on-hip stance; their feet and body tilt set them apart. Blossom keeps the feet together, Shimmer sets them wide, and Chic leans to one side. Petal turns almost all the way away from the camera, while Twilight stands side-on.

What is Pose 28 in Dress To Impress?

“Pose 28” is a real Solo pose, and that is its full name on screen: it is the only Solo pose named with a number. Like the rest of the Solo list, it was free on our account. Look for it 19th in the list, with Confident directly before it and Velvet directly after. In Pose 28 the character leans forward toward the camera, head lowered, feet apart and hands together low in front.

Duo poses tab

The “Duo” tab holds poses for two players. Each name ends in L or R, which reads like the left and right partner, but we have not tried a Duo pose: they need a second player. The first screen of the list shows these names, with more below:

  • “Dizzy Duo Pose L”
  • “Arm Chest Duo R”
  • “Arm On Leg Duo L”
  • “Foot Tap Duo R”
  • “Arms Crossed Duo L”
  • “Heart Pose Duo L”
  • “Straight Pose Duo R”

How to get more poses: pose packs and prices

The shopping-bag tab in the Poses panel opens the shop straight to its “POSES” page. The shop’s top tabs read WEEKLY BOUTIQUE, GAMEPASSES, CLOTHING, PACKS and CURRENCY, and the POSES page has the sub-tabs POSES, WALKS and RUNWAY EFFECTS, plus a Pack Name panel with arrows on the left. Each pack card shows its price and three buttons: VIEW, a bag “+” and Purchase. No Robux price showed on these cards. The packs, in the order the page shows them:

Your pink cash shows in the counters at the top right of the screen, under a gold star counter and a candy corn counter. The cheapest pack we saw, the Troll Pose Pack, costs 2900 pink cash; we had 245, so we bought nothing. The VFX Pose Pack’s price uses a gold icon instead of the pink cash icon. More packs may sit further down the page; we did not scroll it.

What we have not checked

  • What the small star at the right end of each pose tile does. The gold star tab was empty on our account.
  • The Search Bar in the Poses panel.
  • The WALKS and RUNWAY EFFECTS pages of the shop, and what each pose pack contains (we did not open VIEW on any pack).
  • Any Duo pose, since they need a partner.
  • Poses inside a timed theme round, and whether voters see the pose on the runway. Everything here was done in Freeplay Mode.
