Gate Approach location in ARC Raiders: The Blue Gate map

Nearest return pointCliffside Airshaft, about 190 m

Gate Approach is a named place in the middle of The Blue Gate. It sits right beside Checkpoint, about 20 m away, with Outer Gates about 110 m off and Gate Control Room about 180 m away.

In an ordinary round there are 3 container spots: a Worn Backpack, a Raider Cache and a Rocketeer Husk. Most of these are possible spots, and a round fills only some of them, so expect to come away with less than the full set. ARC can turn up here too, with spawn points for a Sentinel and an ARC Surveyor, though not every spawn point is used each round. Small flying machines, large ground machines and a large flying machine can all appear, and which machine shows up varies from round to round. Cold Snap, Uncovered Caches, Husk Graveyard and Hurricane rounds each bring 1 container spot of their own.

The nearest way out is Cliffside Airshaft, about 190 m in a straight line, with Fragrant Hatch at about 200 m. The Blue Gate has more than one level, so the walk can run longer.
