Traffic Tunnel is a named location on The Blue Gate, in the upper right of the in-game map, about 10 m from Headhouse and around 100 m from Data Vault. On the in-game map it carries the Mechanical loot category.

In an ordinary round there are five container spots to check: a Weapon Case, an Ammo Box, a Raider Cache, a Grenade Tube and a Container. Most of these are possible spots, and a round fills only some of them, so do not count on all five. ARC can be waiting. There are spawn points for a Turret and a Snitch, though not every one is used each round, and small flying and small ground machines can appear in two areas each, with the machine varying from round to round. A zipline runs through the area.

The nearest way out is Warehouse Airshaft, about 170 m away in a straight line, with Lucky Hatch, a Raider Hatch, at about 220 m. The Blue Gate has more than one level, so the walk can be longer than that. Cold Snap rounds have 4 container spots of their own here, while Uncovered Caches and Hurricane rounds have 1 each.
