FischFright 3 added six limited Halloween rods to Fisch. You can’t buy most of them outright. Four come from questlines in and around Caustic Hallow, and the last two are forged through a chain of rituals that also depend on the first four. The event started on October 17, 2026, and no end date has been announced. If you want the full set, plan the route before you spend any Treats.
Quick answer: Finish the Youngster Goblin, Beatrix’s Cauldron, Webby Winston, and Doomsekkar questlines for the first four rods. Then complete the Dutchman’s Blessing and Omniscient rituals for the last two.

Getting to Caustic Hallow and farming goblins
Every rod starts in Caustic Hallow. Board the Flying Dutchman docked on the east side of Moosewood, talk to the Dutchman Captain, and pick “Set sail!” to travel to the event island.
Goblins feed two of the six rods, so it helps to know how they spawn. Every 5 minutes, three goblins appear at one location, and the server announces where. Possible locations include Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Ancient Isle, Snowcap Island, Castaway Cliffs, and other islands. Each goblin hands out a task, such as typing a phrase in chat, jumping 50 times, catching specific fish, or answering trivia. You have 15 minutes from the spawn to finish. Completing a task pays out Witch’s Ingredients.

Add to Google Preferences →How to get the Boglin Branch
Talk to the Youngster Goblin near Beatrix’s Cauldron to start the quest. The quest tracker lists five objectives:
- Complete 3 goblin challenges on Normal difficulty or harder. Green-outlined Easy goblins don’t count.
- Hand over 10 Witch’s Ingredients of any type.
- Obtain a Boglin Skull.
- Obtain a Boglin Twig. Some quest text calls this item a Boglin Fang.
- Obtain Boglin Wraps.
Easy goblins can still drop the rare Boglin parts. Once your three Normal+ challenges are logged, clear whatever quick tasks spawn, regardless of difficulty, until all three parts drop.
How to get the Eldritch Rod from Beatrix’s Cauldron
The Eldritch Rod uses the same ingredients as the Boglin Branch, so farm both at the same time.

How to get the Webweaver Rod from Webby Winston
Webby Winston lives in Webridden Cavern, the cave beneath Caustic Hallow. His three quests can be worked on in parallel:
- Trick-or-treat at 16 different houses with the Candy Bucket equipped. Repeat visits to the same door don’t count.
- Catch 15 Cobweb Cod in the cavern’s green water.
- In the cavern, land 10 fish with the Webbed mutation as well.
Turning in all three pays 1,000 Treats. Winston then sells the rod for 1,000 Treats, so the quest reward covers the purchase if you don’t spend it first. The rod shows up in your Rod Journal and inventory once it’s bought.
Some players have reported the Webweaver Rod priced at 2,000 Treats. Check Winston’s shop before spending on anything else.

How to get the Doomsekkar Rod
Doomsekkar stands near the Halloween graveyard, on the path outside Webridden Cavern. His questline has three parts.

The Doomsekkar Rod has -666% Resilience. That’s negative, not a typo, so it struggles with long fights despite its high Luck.
Ritual order and Skeletal Hands
The two remaining rods are earned at the ritual grounds in Caustic Hallow, by placing offerings on hand and Jack-o’-Lantern pedestals surrounding a dark vortex. Each ritual takes 100 Treats to begin. The Rituals menu unlocks them from top to bottom, so you can’t choose a later ritual first:
- Vexing Ritual
- Scary Relic Ritual
- Haunted Ritual
- Jack-o-Moon Ritual
- Boglin Ritual
- Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual, then the Omniscient Ritual
Skeletal Hands must be awakened along the way. The items used to awaken them are the Dark Art Skull, Ethereal Rose, Fable Rose, Gourdman’s Rose, and Davy’s Rose. Davy’s Rose is sold by the Dutchman Merchant for 5,000 Treats, with a stock of one.
How to get the Dutchman’s Rod
The Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual needs three awakened Skeletal Hands. After that, place these offerings in the ritual circle:
| Offering | Type | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Doomed Jagged Bone | Mutated fish | Fishing |
| Vile Poltergeist Perch | Mutated fish | Fishing |
| Grim Skeleton Sturgeon | Mutated fish | Fishing |
| Boglin Mummy Mackerel | Mutated fish | Fishing (not Shiny or Sparkling) |
| Eldritch Corpse Cod | Mutated fish | Fishing |
| Grim, Vile, Doomed Skulls | Skulls | Event catches |
| Coffin | Item | Event catch |
| Dutchman’s Grasp | Item | 25,000 Treats, Flying Dutchman merchant |
Dutchman’s Grasp is the most expensive single purchase in the event, and the merchant stocks only one. The rod is granted when the ritual completes.
How to get the Omniscient Spinecaster
The Omniscient Ritual comes last. To begin, finish the Eldritch Ritual, advance to Hex Stage 5, and awaken each of the five Skeletal Hands. Its offerings are divided between two groups of pedestals.
| Pedestal | Offering |
|---|---|
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Grim-mutated Jagged Bone |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Vile-mutated Jagged Bone |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Doomed-mutated Jagged Bone |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Eldritch-mutated Jagged Bone |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Zombie Nessie |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Plush Nessie |
| Jack-o’-Lanterns | Dark Art Skull |
| Skeletal Hands | Boglin Jagged Bone (not Shiny or Sparkling) |
| Skeletal Hands | Doomsekkar-mutated Jagged Bone |
| Skeletal Hands | Dutchman’s Curse Jagged Bone |
| Skeletal Hands | Omniscient Souls |
| Skeletal Hands | Omniscient Bone |
Omniscient Souls costs 10,000 Treats from the Dutchman Merchant, limited to one. Zombie Nessie prefers Jack-o-Moon weather, night, autumn, and Black Licorice bait. Completing the ritual grants the rod, which you can switch between Offensive and Defensive forms.

Shiny or Sparkling versions of the Boglin fish won’t work for either ritual. Keep plain copies, and don’t sell any mutated Jagged Bones until both rituals are finished.
FischFright 3 rod stats
| Rod | Lure Speed | Luck | Resilience |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eldritch Rod | 90% | 230% | 15% |
| Webweaver Rod | 125% | 250% | 10% |
| Doomsekkar Rod | 100% | 275% | -666% |
| Dutchman’s Rod | 100% | 100% | 10% |
| Omniscient Spinecaster | 120% | 300% | 30% |
Control is 0.05 on the Eldritch Rod and Omniscient Spinecaster, 0.03 on the Webweaver Rod, and 0.1 on the Doomsekkar and Dutchman’s rods. The Webweaver Rod carries a spider (Webbed) passive, the Doomsekkar Rod a Pumpkin Bomb passive, and the Omniscient Spinecaster adds +50% Progress Speed. The Rod Journal has shown different figures for some rods, including lower Max Kg caps, so treat the in-game numbers as final.
Fastest order to unlock all six rods
Start with goblins, since they feed both the Boglin Branch and the Eldritch Rod. Then move to the Webweaver Rod and Doomsekkar Rod. Doomsekkar’s 3,000-Treat payout helps cover ritual costs, and both of their mutations show up in later offerings. Finish with the Dutchman’s Rod, then the Omniscient Spinecaster. For the ritual rods, budget at least 25,000 Treats for Dutchman’s Grasp, 10,000 for Omniscient Souls, 5,000 for Davy’s Rose, and 100 per ritual attempt. Each rod is confirmed when it appears in your Rod Journal and inventory.
