Loot containers are the things you search for supplies across the world map of Permafrost. The map has 1,955 container spots, split between 24 kinds.
Frozen bodies make up the bulk at 634 spots, followed by Military crates at 205, Suitcases at 171 and Lockers at 151. Safes and Clothes Bins are scarce at 9 each, and Deer carcasses sit at 3. Containers cluster most around the Solar Power Plant (153), the Greenhouse (125) and the Church (113), with Crow's Nest (94) and Promenade (House Camp) (89) next in line. If you are after Bucks, search Toolboxes, Suitcases, Lockers, Damaged Cars and Frozen bodies. A locked Suitcase only opens with a shiv in your hand, and the game rejects any other tool. Damaged Cars are take-only, so you cannot leave items in them.
