A small, isolated patch of land deep within the frozen forest, was once a bustling logging site.

Woodcutters Outpost is a lone clearing in the middle of the iced-over woods, a spot where timber felling once kept plenty of people busy. The in-game map marks it as a cold zone, so it is colder than the land around it, and a banner tells you when you cross into it.
Most of the containers are frozen bodies and wooden crates, with a military crate, an insulated crate, a locker and a suitcase alongside them. Gold Boulders make up nearly all of the resources, with 13 nearby, plus a single Flint Boulder and a single Copper Boulder. Four stacks of planks can be broken, and the loose items include Coffee Beans and a TR-22 Rudi. Recipe notes here teach the Moon Cult Gloves and the Wall Torch, and you can also pick up the recording Ladders 101: A Fallen Man's Message.
The nearest safe zone is Church, about 320 m away in a straight line, and the Fast Travel: Church post is about 360 m off. Rift Cave is about 40 m away, while Hunter's Glade and the Crater are each about 140 m, so the outpost is easy to combine with those stops on the same trip.
