The gravely ill set out into the maze of solar panels, desperately searching for the hidden clinic of old Doctor Sonnenberg. There, alone and with only modest supply support from Logan’s people, he tends to his patients and, powerless against the many limitations he faces, can often do little more than ease their pain in the final moments of their lives.

In-game journal

Sonnenberg's Clinic is the hidden practice of the elderly Doctor Sonnenberg, tucked away among rows of solar panels. The dying make the trek here hoping for treatment, but he works alone with little help from Logan's people beyond a few supplies, and for most patients he can do no more than make their last moments less painful. The in-game map marks it as a safe zone.

Dr. Sonnenberg trades from the clinic. The surrounding area is rich in frozen bodies, with 51 to search, plus 3 military crates and 3 medical supply boxes. Iron Boulders are the most common node nearby at 56, followed by 42 Sulfur Boulders, with 16 Moonrock Boulders and 11 Gold Boulders for rarer materials.

Because the clinic is a safe zone, the game offers it as your respawn point when it is the closest safe zone to where you die. Fast Travel: Horizon sits about 230 m away in a straight line, and Rat Queen's Crossing is the nearest named place at about 180 m.
