Experiment 83 is a boss fought in The Outskirts, a region that opens during main quest chapter 7, WITCH HUNT. The Lantern nearest the arena is Lighthouse, which makes it the place to head back to between attempts and the point to start from each time you return to the fight. Once chapter 7 begins and The Outskirts open up, make your way towards Lighthouse before you take on the boss.
The fight has 1 phase, so what you face at the start is what you deal with until the end. Experiment 83 uses a grab, a slam and a vomit attack, and none of these can be blocked. Your guard will not stop them, so watch for each one and dodge instead of holding your block. Its attacks do not build up Ignite or Stasis, which means you do not need to prepare for either status before stepping into the arena. Defeating Experiment 83 gives you 20,000 Catalysts and unlocks the achievement Lament of The Limbs.
