Enshrouded 1.0 on PC has 58 Steam achievements. Steam marks 24 of them as rare. There are 12 first-step, boss and tool achievements, 11 level milestones, 34 region achievements and 1 hidden achievement. The region sets cover the listed regions; Blackmire has no region achievements. The percentages below show the share of Steam players who hold each achievement as of 17 Oct 2026.

The rarest listed achievements are the Cinder’s Cradle set and “Above the clouds” (Reach level 50.). Only 0.1% of players hold each of them.
An achievement unlock is signaled by a notification appearing in the screen’s lower-right corner. It contains the achievement’s icon, title and description. Gameplay carries on behind the notification.
Story, boss and first-step achievements
Where to start: building your first flame altar unlocks A place to call home. Getting the glider and its upgrades covers Freefall and Winged Victory.

A place to call home
Open the Crafting menu with V and go to Essentials. Then craft the Level 1 Flame Altar, which costs 5 Stone. “A place to call home – Create a flame altar.” pops up as soon as the altar is crafted.
Erudite
Press H to open the Skills screen and unlock any skill. For example, unlocking Double Jump triggers “Erudite – Unlocked the first skill.”
Thundering success and Well done!
Both of these unlock in the Springlands Elixir Well. “Thundering success – Defeat the guardian of the first elixir well.” appears the moment the Fell Thunderbrute dies. At the same time, the game shows “Enemy slain XP +150” and “QUEST UPDATED Clear The Elixir Well”, and your next objective becomes “Destroy The Shroud Root”.
Head to the bottom of the well and destroy that Shroud Root. “Well done! – Cleared the first elixir well.” then appears, along with “NEW LOCATION CHARTED! 1 markers added.” and “Quest reward XP +225”.

Level achievements from level 2 to level 50
Where to start: these unlock on their own as your player level rises, and each level also brings 2 skill points. The first one comes at level 2, and the last one, Above the clouds, comes at level 50.

Region achievements for all seven region sets
Where to start: A region can award up to five achievements. To earn them, reach its ancient spire, extract every valuable material, read every obelisk, clear all Shroud Roots, and locate every flame shrine and sanctum. Steam uses a consistent description format for each region:
- Ancient spire: “Reached the ancient spire in the” followed by the region name. The Springlands version reads “Reached an ancient spire in the Springlands.” and the Cinder’s Cradle version reads “Scaled the ancient spire in the Cinder’s Cradle.”
- Mining: “Mine every valuable material in the” followed by the region name.
- Obelisks: “Read all obelisks in the” followed by the region name.
- Shroud Roots: “Clear the” followed by the region name and “of all shroud roots.” The Nomad Highlands version reads “Clear the Nomad Highlands from all shroud roots.”
- Flame shrines: “Find all flame shrines and sanctums in the” followed by the region name.

The list has no region achievements for Blackmire, and no flame shrine achievement for Cinder’s Cradle.
Each region set has a full location list: all Ancient Spire locations, all Ancient Obelisk locations, all Shroud Root and Elixir Well locations and all Flame Shrine and Flame Sanctum locations. The interactive map marks them all.
The hidden Enshrouded achievement
The 58th achievement is hidden. Until you unlock it, Steam shows no name or description and displays only “Details for this achievement will be revealed once you’ve unlocked it”. Just 0.1% of players hold it, which puts it level with the Cinder’s Cradle set and Above the clouds as the rarest achievements in the game.
