Enshrouded 1.0 has two ways to craft without a craftsperson. You can use a placed Workbench, or you can craft by hand from the Crafting tab of your menu. Both lists are below in full, with what one craft gives you and what it costs.
Quick answer: The Workbench crafts 166 recipes and hand crafting crafts 57, not counting upgrades. You build the Workbench by hand from 3 String and 8 Wood Logs of any log type.

How the Workbench and hand crafting work
The Workbench is itself a hand-crafted recipe. The Crafting tab sorts hand recipes into Essentials, Supplies, Water Utilities, Weapons and Armor. On each recipe card, a pair such as “12 / 8” shows what you carry first and the cost second.
The bench menu opens with three tabs: Workbench, Manual Crafting and Backpack. The Manual Crafting tab means every hand recipe is still available while you stand at the bench. Early in the game, the Workbench tab shows the categories Essentials, Blocks, Roof Blocks, Road Blocks, Comfort Furniture, Decorative and Other Furniture.
A few rules hold across both lists.
- The “x” number is the output of one craft. Most building blocks give 100. Roof-type blocks and Tarred Straw Block give 50. Road blocks and fertile soils give 10.
- No recipe here needs a Sheltered Bed or any other placed station.
- Water appears in three hand recipes. Fell Curse Cleansing Tonic takes 1, Puke Potion takes 2 and Water Balloon takes 5.
- Simple Fishing Bait takes 3:30 to craft. Every other recipe is listed without a crafting time.
- The Construction Hammer is in both lists and costs 1 Stone of any stone type either way.

Workbench recipes
The Workbench has 166 recipes, not counting upgrades. Some recipes use an earlier craft as an ingredient. Brick-Timbered Block takes 1 Fired Bricks Block, Weathered Ancient Stone Block takes 100 Ancient Stone Block, and Small Magic Chest takes a finished Small Chest.
