The Kindlewastes are the desert region in the south-east of Embervale, south-east of the Nomad Highlands and south of the Albaneve Summits. It is where you rescue the Hunter’s assistant Galen Yager, Kaori Conway and Hugo Vanderhall, and where the Hunter and the Farmer send you for the Loom and the Beehive Smoker.
Quick answer: The Hunter’s “Loom For The Hunter” and the Farmer’s “A Beehive Smoker” (both recommended level 20) send you to East Lapis and Brittlebush in the Kindlewastes; climb the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire to get a fast travel point for the region.
How to get to the Kindlewastes
“Loom For The Hunter” has a recommended level of 20. Its first step, “Find The Weaver’s Cottage In East Lapis”, reads:
The Hunter needs a Loom to craft padding kits for better armor. She suggests looking for a weaver’s cottage in East Lapis. The general area is marked on the map. The cottage should be easy to spot since its decorated with banners.
East Lapis is about 1,190 m north-east of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire, and the Weaver’s Cottage is about 1,210 m north-east of it. The Farmer’s “A Beehive Smoker”, at the same recommended level, starts at Emily Fray’s tavern in Brittlebush, about 910 m north-west of the spire. Climbing the spire unlocks fast travel to it, as with every Ancient Spire; Galen Yager asks for it in “Climbing The Kindlewastes Spire”. The Farmer confirms that the Sun Temple in Brittlebush is indeed haunted! An evil spirit has haunted the holy halls ever since the Shroud flooded the land. It must be cast out!
The Beehive Smoker ends at the Vukah Sacrifice Hill:
The Beehive Smoker was stolen and brought to the Vukah Sacrifice Hill, alongside honey and wax.
Follow the trail and eliminate the Vukah thief to retrieve the Beehive Smoker. This will unlock Honey Beehives and honey production.
