Flame Shrines and Flame Sanctums are where you pick up Sparks in Enshrouded. Take those Sparks to the Flame Altar and offer them there, together with other materials, to strengthen the Flame. A stronger Flame lets you push deeper into the Shroud and build more bases across Embervale, so the Sparks you carry back let you reach further. The map of Embervale has 63 spots where you can pick up Sparks at a Flame Shrine or Flame Sanctum.
Nomad Highlands has 15 of these spots, more than any other region. Revelwood and Springlands follow with 13 each, so those regions are good places to start a Spark run. Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin have 8 each, and Kindlewastes has 6. Flame Sanctum is the name you will see most often on the map, at 15 spots, while the Flame Shrine of Manathor is one of the named shrines to look for.
