Return Beacons and Teleport Pads mark 275 spots on the map of Embervale: 251 Return Beacons and 24 Teleport Pads. After a death, you come back at the last Return Beacon you passed, or at your base. Staying close to a beacon also refills your Time in the Shroud. Teleport Pads come in pairs, and stepping onto one carries you to its partner. Most pairs connect the base and the summit of a tower or an Ancient building close by, while one pair links two levels of Cinder's Cradle.
The Springlands hold the most spots with 46, followed by Veilwater Basin with 42 and the Kindlewastes with 38. The Albaneve Summits have 37, Revelwood and the Nomad Highlands 36 each, Cinder's Cradle 26 and Blackmire 14.
