Every customer in Probably Stolen: Cyberpunk Shopkeeper Sim walks up to the same window, but each one wants something different. Some buy, some sell, some only barter, and a few are wanted criminals worth a bounty. The list below covers every customer and visitor we met through Day 31 on Mark Up (Normal) difficulty.
Quick answer: Scavengers and Scavs mostly sell, while Spacers and Lower Level Citizens buy food and household goods. Upper Level visitors pay the most, for Substance items.

Add to Google Preferences →How to read a customer panel in Probably Stolen
Customers queue at the window one at a time. Each one opens a panel titled with their name and one of four types: BUYING, SELLING, BUYING & SELLING or BARTER OFFER. A buying panel lists Interests (item labels like Food, Material or Substance), sometimes Restrictions, and a Customer Budget. Anything on your counter they won’t take is marked “Not interested”, so read the Interests before you drag items over.
The budget sets an absolute spending limit. The Miner sought a BloomBerry Wine priced at 125, but had just 70 available. A seller may also present an entire lot at a wholesale discount.
These are the Restrictions that show up on buyers:
- Variety: “Customer is not interested in buying the same item twice”
- Security: “Security personnel. Contraband on the counter will be confiscated and you will be fined.”
- No Contraband: “This customer refuses contraband. Keep it off the counter.”
- Luxury Item
Named story characters show up again on specific days. Compare each visitor with the Wanted list, since you can report a wanted criminal by holding Call Security.
Buyers: who pays for what
Spacer
Spacers are reliable Food buyers from Day 1. One with a budget of 64 bought two Peat at 29 each. A second Spacer had Food and Beverage with Variety and a budget of 96, and bought Puice, Galaxy Blend, a Cat Chocolate Bar and Soda for 90. During the Water Supply Crisis on Day 25, a Spacer showed up with an empty Bottle of Water (Small) at 0/450 ml.
Lower Level Citizen
The everyday Lower Levels buyer, with Interests that shift visit to visit. Expect Food and Material (budget 149 on Day 3), Household Good like toilet paper and toothpaste (budget 100), and Medical (budget 202 on Day 18). One with Variety paid 37 for a single Peat. On Day 20 one bought a Wine Bottle, Water Purification Tablets and yeast for 90. A masked Lower Level Citizen can also turn up as a seller.
Lower Level Repairman
Wants Material, Tool and Energy Cell, with a budget of 119 on Day 2. He paid 92 for Scrap Metal at 12 x3, Electronic Parts (Common) at 38 and Wire at 18, all from a Junker lot that cost 64.
Upper Level Visitor
He seeks Substance and offers the highest prices among the buyers listed. On Day 4, he had 304 to spend and paid 115 each for two authentic Hemingway cigarette packs. His Day 23 budget was 323; he opened with, “I wish to sample your more… ahem… “illicit” pleasures.” and paid 143 and 152 for two BloomBerry Wines.

Tourist, Station Tourist and Foodie Tourist
The Station Tourist arrives with the Tourist Influx event on Day 9, wants Material, Makeshift and Junk with Variety, and has a budget of 132. The Tourist on Day 10 wants Food, Water, Water Ration and Substance (budget 213) and paid 29, 29 and then 32 for Peat, which carried a Tourist Tax label.

The Foodie Tourist first appears on Day 13 with “I want to taste every food in the galaxy” and “I give you 2 days to prepare.” He returns on Day 15 as the last customer with Food and Beverage, Variety and a budget of 750. Variety means he takes one of each item, so stock as many different foods as possible.

Merchant
A lowballer in a suit and sunglasses. He offered 10 for Nutrifruit on Day 7, tried to buy an entire 14-item counter for 274 with “Clearance Discount (-15%)” on Day 14, and offered 100 and 106 for wines on Day 21.
Foreman
Buys Material. He paid 54 for Electronic Parts (Common) on Day 12, and brought a budget of 400 during Construction Projects on Day 25.
Mercenary
Shows up on Day 12 wanting Weapon, Armor and Ammunition, with a Luxury Item restriction and a budget of 300 (348 on Day 24). He asks “You got weapons, ammo or armor?” and says “I don’t mind contraband”.
Maintenance Worker
Day 10 buyer with Material, Tool and Energy Cell, Variety and a budget of 100. He bought Wire at 18.
Lower Level Elder
Comes on Day 15 wanting Food with a budget of 125: “All my food is gone.” He bought BloomBerry at 16 and Nutrifruit at 14 x3.
Security buyers: Officer Lun, Off Duty Officer, Security Requisition Officer
All three carry the Security restriction, so clear contraband off the counter before they reach the window. Officer Lun bought Food (budget 50), Medical and Narcotic (budget 100) and Narcotic (budget 94). The Off Duty Officer had a budget of 102. The Security Requisition Officer adds No Contraband, wants Food and Medical with a budget of 300, and bought two food for 58: “We will also gladly accept any donations after our budget is used up.”

Other buyers
- Conspiracy Theorist (Day 13): Substance.
- Miner (Day 18): his panel shows BUYING & SELLING; he offered 125 for a BloomBerry Wine despite having only 70 to spend.
- Wounded Man (Day 21): Medical, budget 100. “I need them now, I’ve been shot!”
- Corporate Representative (Day 26): budget 473, brings an empty Bottle of Water (Standard) at 0/750 during the Water Supply Crisis.
- Sick Scav (Day 27): carries 175 and wants High-Quality water. “Clinic said I’ve been drinking too much bad water.”
- Station Engineer (Day 28): seeks Material, Modules, Node and Tool, with a budget of 260; he bought a Screwdriver at 29 and a Quality Module, 109 in total.
- Annoyed Engineer (Day 29): “I am gonna be here all day doing the repairs.” and a complaint that “Some crazy scavenger salvaged the metal plating off a structu[re]”; budget 80.
- Desperate Lover (Day 30): “I need a variety of tools, weapons and meds.” and “My girlfriend went on a scav run.” Tool, Weapon and Medical with Variety and No Contraband, budget 150; he offered 184 for a stolen Immunivax Injector, over his budget.
Sellers and barter customers
Scavenger, Junker and Scav
Scavengers are the walk-in sellers you encounter most often. They bring food lots (Buy 5 Items for 95 on Day 1) and wholesale discounts of 15 percent, 25 percent or higher. One sold a genuine Hemingway pack for 100; another accepted a -25% demand, lowering Galaxy Blend’s price from 25 to 19. A selling Scavenger listed as “Attracted By” a Food Neon Sign displayed in the Display Case. After joining the appraisal board, you can also get Cybernetic Hands from Scavengers to appraise.
The Junker offers a scrap pile for 64, marked “Offering Wholesale 33% Discount”. The gas-masked Scav trades in food stamps: on Day 11, a 200 stamp with Mentor’s Note: Food Stamps; on Day 12, an unsealed 160 stamp (Confront, bought at 7); and on Day 15, a genuine 120 stamp, purchased for 90.
Supply Runner, Supplier and Retired Winemaker
The Supply Runner deals in winemaking equipment: Module Extractor (Basic) for 100, 3D Printing Filament for 18, Kotton Fabric for 98 and Wine Bottle for 7. On Day 21, he cautions, “But you gotta pay a premium.” The Supplier begins placing stock on the counter on Day 7. The Retired Winemaker offers Wine Bottles, Yeast for 12 and BloomBerry for 16, with Supplier Markup +15%; on Day 26 the Winemaker also had a Sealed Water Ration for 50 and Super Yeast for 23. More in our winemaking guide.

Thief and Upper Level Pharmacist
Both sell stolen goods. The Thief offered a Security Department Evidence Locker crate for 200, then Scratcher Tickets (5) at 80 and an Advanced Water Filter at 193 with Five Finger Discount. The Upper Level Pharmacist sold stolen Immunivax Injectors tagged Stolen (100% Heat) on Day 27 (“If anyone asks, this didn’t come from me.”), as a 15 percent wholesale lot for 232.
Old Scav and Pale Scav
The Old Scav has No Contraband and a budget of 0, yet sells an Ironcraft 10 pistol (Mid-Level Contraband, Est 176) and 10mm Ammunition (Est 38): “I have no use for it anymore.” The Pale Scav sells Blood Bags on Day 15 and again on Day 23.
Water Trader and Petty Thief
Two more sellers turned up late in our run. The Petty Thief opened with “Take a quick peek.” on Day 29 and offered a small lot at a 10% wholesale discount (118). On Day 30 the Water Trader, in a suit and sunglasses, brought a row of water rations as a 17% wholesale lot for 100; buy from him before a Water Supply Crisis, when water buyers bring their own empty bottles.
Poor Scav and Scav Addict (barter)
Barter customers name what they want and let you choose one offer. The Poor Scav’s panel reads “Barter for: Food”. Hand over one Cat Chocolate Bar and pick 1 of 3: two Blood Bags, three Scrap Metal or two Scratcher Tickets. The Scav Addict barters for an Oxymore Injector on Day 13, with Accept Offer greyed out if you don’t have one. On Day 24 he switches to “Barter for: Narcotic” with four offers: 3 Wire, 2 Blood Bag, Glass Shiv + Lead Pipe + Box Cutter, or a Box of PAX Tampons.

Service visitors and paid offers
Appraiser Board Member
On Day 8 she offers board membership: “Entry fee is 85 Credits only.” Choose [Join the board (85 Credits)] to get training material, a Magnifying Glass and the Junior Certificate. Four Perfect appraisals on Day 14 took the balance from 217 to 431, and four more on Day 16, including a Deluxe gold hand at 620, took it from 292 to 546.
Shady Customer
Opens an INFORMATION DEALER panel selling “Actionable Market Related Information” for 50. Buying it on Day 21 gives a warning about the water treatment: “Water will be in short supply.” The Water Supply Crisis ran Days 24 to 26.
Corporate Waste Manager
“I’ll pay you 100 Credits per barrel.” Pick [Take 1 barrel], [Take 3 barrels] or [Take 5 barrels], and the cash lands immediately. The catch is that each barrel then has to be dumped at the Dumping Ground.

Lottery Representative and Upper Level Citizen
The Lottery Representative sells Lottery Tickets for 25 and redeems winners: “If you won any of those, you can redeem them with me.” A ticket needs at least 3 matching digits to win; the Day 27 draw was 02 20 38 40 42 45, so our 08 10 24 26 40 44 ticket matched one and won nothing. Rules are in our lottery guide. The Upper Level Citizen who visits on Day 19 explains “I moved up after I got lucky and won that Lottery.”
Story characters and named visitors
The Mentor
The hooded first customer on Day 1. His Mentor’s Notes teach each system in turn: Trading and Food (Day 1), After-Hours with a Fanny Pack and a bandage (Day 2), Visual Inspection with a Magnifying Glass (Day 3), the Display Case and neon signs (Day 5), bargaining (Day 8), and Augs and the shotgun (Day 12). On Day 24 he warns “The trade board will soon require everyone to have a trading permit.”

Joe Wild
Last customer on Day 4, pitching his Insurance Service. On Day 7 he opens Wild’s Network and leaves his Business Card. On Day 25 he opens the Informant tab, where Inspection Early Warning costs 300 favor. While he waits, the shutter blocks you with “You can’t end the day yet, there are important people in the queue”.

The Landlord
Arrives last in the queue on rent days with “Hello, do you have the rent?” and two choices, [Pay Rent] or [Don’t pay the rent]. Rent climbs each week: 200 on Day 7, 209 on Day 14, 219 on Day 21, 229 on Day 28 and 240 due on Day 35 (rent guide). Paying gets you “Don’t forget.” On Day 18 he came as a seller instead, offering SYNC Neuroactive Perfume 150, Cat Chocolate Bar 15, Li-Eat Snack Bar 17 and Roll of Toilet Paper 25.

Georgio
A scavenger who sells a furnace kit and flux (wholesale -15%, 34), four water bottles at -75% for 9, a Kid’s Backpack (Large) for 250, and Georgio’s Assistance at 50 credits for 3 nights at the Dumping Ground. On Day 19 he returns a radioactive barrel left at the Dumping Grounds. On Day 27 he leaves Liquid Luck on the ledge for free: “Will 100% increase your luck for 3 days! Georgio’s guarantee! It tastes like Rustwater.”

Dr. Jackson
Inventor and supplier. He sells a Furnace for 50 with “New Customer Discount (-75%)”, modules at 18 each, and store equipment: Alarm System 150, Storage Bay 300, Machine Bay 300, Smuggler’s Bay 250 and a Fridge 100. Supplier Markup +15% pushed the Smuggler’s Bay to 288. He also buys Material (budget 74 on Day 12, 88 on Day 19) and bought two Ancient Alien Relics on Day 8.
Sawyer
Threatens you on Day 10 (“We will make you regret it.”) and comes back on Day 25 with the UNDERGROUND EXCHANGE DIRECTIVE. It’s a list of once-per-night exchanges, such as three Water Filters in any condition for a new one, or two Modules for one random module; you leave the items in your trash can and the janitors swap them overnight. Every trade is in our Underground Exchange guide.

Eleanor
On Day 23, she buys Food under the Variety restriction with a budget of 300. Her Day 25 purchase is Household Good; she pays 17 apiece for two Tube of Toothpaste, with 200 available. On Day 27 she sells instead: a Bottle of Spring Water (Est 325), then a Box of PAX Tampons priced 100, and SYNC perfume at 150, offered as a 50 percent wholesale lot for 288.

Eleanor’s Uncle
On Sunday, Day 28, he says “Hello there. You know Eleanor, don’t you? I’m her… uncle.” He leaves a free CARE PACKAGE FOR ELEANOR, marked Stolen (100% Heat), Luxury Item and Household Good. Its tooltip warns that the Security feed has flagged it as stolen. Hold Call Security; officers show up and ask “Hello, Shopkeeper. You reported a stolen item?” His name changes to Black Market Thug, and you get 50 credits.

On Day 29 Eleanor herself came back with “My uncle? I don’t have an uncle.” and a barter panel, “Eleanor’s thank-you gift: pick one.”: a HydraTech Micro Water Purifier or an L’ESSENCE Pheromone Perfume (contraband). Her full storyline is in our station events guide.

Wanted criminals, bounties and Augs
Officer Lun leaves the Wanted list on Day 1. Holding Call Security on a matching face brings the Security Officer arrest team and pays the bounty.
| Criminal | Day | Bounty | Reputation effect |
|---|---|---|---|
Odin Haraldsson | Day 10 | 300 | Security up, Revolution down |
| Day 26 | 450 | Lower Levels up | |
| Day 28 | 50 (stolen item report) | — | |
| Day 28 (missed) | 125 | — |
Odin Haraldsson taunts “Report me, and you’ll never see me again.” The arrest confirms with “Odin Haraldsson… at last. You are under arrest.” The Butcher, a Lower Level Citizen in a red cap and bloody apron, first sells Raw Meat (Small) 65 and (Standard) 159 on Day 19 with “25% off if you take everything.” The Day 20 report names him as wanted, and he returns on Day 26 matching the poster.

Juan slipped through the same way. On Day 28 a Lower Level Laborer in a blue cap sold food as a 20% wholesale lot (“I have more in the future if you want.”), and the Day 29 report read “One of your contacts has informed you that a wanted criminal: Juan, visited the Store yesterday.” Check every face against the Wanted poster, even sellers.
Arthur Lafleur
Can slip through unnoticed. The Day 4 Nightly Report reads “One of your contacts has informed you that a wanted criminal: Arthur Lafleur, visited the Store yesterday.”

Aug
The Day 13 last customer wears a gas mask with a cross-shaped chip on the forehead, but the panel names him Thief. He wants Medical with a budget of 196: “Requesting supplies. A host is awaiting augmentation.” The next morning’s report confirms an Aug visited. On Day 24 the report warns “You have received word from Security that an Aug is likely to visit your store today.” and the shotgun tooltip reads “Equip the shotgun”.
On Day 30 the warning came again, and the fourth customer, an Upper Level Citizen, gave himself away with “This unit has— I mean, I need some…”. Holding the shotgun opened the aim screen (SHOOT with the left mouse button, HOLSTER with the right); after the shot, Security arrived with “We got your call.” and “Let’s check the suspected aug.”, and our credits went from 129 to 247. See our Aug guide.

Tips for handling customers
- Read Interests and Restrictions before dragging anything; items they don’t want show “Not interested”.
- A buyer’s panel lists everything on your counter (on Day 28 the Merchant’s BUYING panel priced all nine items, our stolen injector included), so clear stolen goods and contraband off the counter before a Security buyer reaches the window.
- Check every face against the Wanted poster, sellers included: The Butcher and Juan both came as ordinary sellers.
- Stock one of each food for Variety buyers such as the Foodie Tourist (budget 750).
- Keep water in stock before a Water Supply Crisis and a few bandages for Medical buyers.
