Rose jumps in the air, then falls down to the ground, dealing damage on the way and creating a cross of green fire, damaging enemies on its path while also slowing down time for a brief moment.
Chronomantic Dive
Isaac is a boss you first face in an introductory fight in the Main Hall of Castle Drawbridge, where the closest Mirror of Life is Entrance Corridor. The proper fight takes place in Heart of the Clock, inside the Clock Tower, and the nearest Mirror of Life to it is Eastern Summit.
Beating Isaac earns The Zealot, Arcana card 11 of the Tarot, and the spell Chronomantic Dive, which costs 50 MP. Rose leaps upward and slams back down, hurting foes during the drop. On landing she leaves a cross-shaped blaze that burns enemies in its way, and time slows for a moment.
The spell has 2 Works of Mercy: kill 20 enemies during slow motion, or explore each room of the Clock Tower. Finishing one grants a Blessing to spend on a Gift. One Gift makes the slowdown last longer, and the other gives a larger blast when Rose dives from enough height. In Mechanic's Ascent, a clue points you to the Clock Tower as the place where Isaac is waiting.
