Boss fights in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse are marked the same way each time. A health bar appears across the bottom of the screen with the boss’s name under it, and most kills end on a reward screen that hands you an Arcana card. The run below follows the order you actually reach these fights, from the Paris sewers to Dracula’s throne room, and these are not the complete set of enemies in the game.
Boss order and locations
Each row lists where the fight takes place and the Arcana card it gives, where shown. Fights that show no card on the kill are marked as such.

No card is awarded for five encounters: Death the first time, Isaac the first time, Joan on her second encounter, and either of the two Dracula battles. Each Dracula encounter yields only a trophy at the end.
Two fights also give a legendary weapon. The second Isaac fight at the Heart of the Clock drops the legendary spear Chauve-Souris with the Zealot card, and Arthur drops the legendary weapon Excalibur with the Brittle King card. The Brittle King card itself carries the Stained-Glass Shield.
Where to find the main fights
The Fallen
The first boss waits in the sewers under Paris Streets, which you reach after the Sewer Reservoir and the Path of the Rat under the objective “STOP THE MONSTER TERRORIZING THE CITY”. The kill pays out the Fallen Arcana card with the Holy Cross spell, plus The Fallen’s Key.
Medusa in Serpents’ Lair
Medusa holds the Serpents’ Lair, which you enter through the Hot Springs and the Roman Baths. Clearing her drops the Prophetess card with the Petrifying Gaze spell, along with The Prophetess’s Key.

Talos in the Clock Tower
Talos sits in the forge chamber of the Clock Tower, reached through the Builder’s Secret Elevator, the Foundry Apex, and the Final Trap. The reward is the Builder card with the Fist of Talos spell.

Mammon in the Circle of Greed
In the Catacombs of Paris, locate Mammon in the Circle of Greed room, locked behind an eye door. Defeating him awards the Miser card, which carries the Wheel of Chaos spell.

Succubus in Belmont Manor
At the conclusion of Descent into Memory, the Succubus fight takes place within Belmont Manor. Her defeat awards the Temptress card, whose spell is Life Drain.

Arthur and the Chapel
Pull on the altar sword in Notre-Dame’s Chapel to start Arthur’s encounter; when the bar displays “Arthur”, he transforms into a giant knight made of stained glass. Victory awards the Brittle King card alongside the legendary weapon Excalibur.
Keys, the Catacombs gate, and the Dracula objective
A named key is left by each of three early bosses: The Fallen, Medusa, and Joan on the tower roof. To open the Catacombs gate in Paris Streets, you need keys carried by other guardians. The map’s objective for Dracula is “FIND DRACULA AND DEFEAT HIM”.
Each Dracula battle has two stages: first fight his initial form in the throne room, then battle the winged form in a dark void. For encounter one, the battle concludes on the castle roof; encounter two ends at Castle Ramparts. To get to the throne room for Dracula’s second encounter, pass through the Grand Staircase and the Throne Room Antechamber.
A sizable bone beast that crawls attacks on the bridge into Holy Innocents’ Cemetery, close to the Cemetery Entrance. There is no boss bar or reward screen for it; this challenging foe is a regular enemy, not a boss.
