A structure built from scavenged metal and scrap, intended to maintain communication in the failing city. It soon became an important waypoint on the road between House Camp and the Solars, serving as a safe haven. Currently abandoned after multiple attacks from the Moon Cult.

The Improvised Radio Tower is an Exploration zone on the Permafrost map. Survivors put it together from salvaged metal to keep a line of contact open as the city collapsed, and it became a sheltered stopping point for travellers moving between House Camp and the Solars. Repeated raids by the Moon Cult drove everyone out, and it now stands empty.
Most of the searching here is on frozen bodies, with 9 around the site, alongside 3 lockers and 2 military crates. Two toolboxes, a medical supply box, an electric box and an office cabinet round it out. A Scrap Pickaxe and a Buria lie loose nearby. For mining, 16 Rock Boulder spots and 9 Coal Boulder spots dominate, with Flint, Copper and 2 Gold Boulder spots as well.
The Fast Travel: Church post is about 260 m away in a straight line, and Sonnenberg's Clinic, the nearest safe zone, is about 200 m off. The Water Tower is closer still at about 100 m. The main quest Tower of Finn sends you here.
