The Battlefield is region I of Valor Mortis, and chapter 1, REVIVAL, begins here. It is the ground left behind after French and Russian armies met, with their dead scattered across it and the Empire's flag still upright among the wreckage.
You start here with the Saber, and an altar in the region grants Fire Transmutation. Lanterns stand at Onslaught Arch, the Trenches and the Field Encampment. General Lothaire, the Eagle-Bearer, is the boss fought in this region. Enemies here are the Risen Soldier, Risen Musketeer, Howler, Risen Lancer, Risen Sapeur, Eternal Guardsman and Risen Grenadier. Ambers to pick up include Bottomless Well, Butcher's Carnage, Duellist's Focus, Iron Grip, Volatile End and Wound that Heals. The map holds 12 chests and 4 notes.
