Bottomless Well is an Amber that slowly brings back Nephtoglobin you have lost, refilling it gradually over time. Like other Ambers, it goes into an Amber Slot at a Lantern and works passively once equipped. It has 3 ranks, and picking up a further copy raises it by one rank, so tracking down more than one copy pays off.
On The Battlefield, one copy sits inside a regular chest. The nearest Lantern is Onslaught Arch, so rest there before going to open it. In City of Orphans, a Risen Lancer drops another copy when defeated, and Tribunal Square is the closest Lantern to that spot. Bottomless Well is also handed to you during a conversation, which gives you one more way to raise its rank.
