Instagram Model is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the theme’s name, and we have not had it as a round yet, so the reading here is ours: trendy and camera-ready, with soft neutrals, long styled curls and a posed, selfie-style stance. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, a white halter top with tan shorts and a cream shirt with a tan pleated skirt and long white gloves, with our own picture for each step. Every piece, face, hairstyle and material used is free. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: Keep it soft and camera-ready: a white Silk halter top with tan shorts and platinum curls, or a cream shirt with black ribbons, a tan pleated skirt and long white gloves, finished with the Chic or Pearly pose.
Instagram Model outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the exact spot we used on the Default palette. Both looks share the same face and hairstyle, so those steps are written once, in Look 1. Both looks are barefoot: we wore no shoes, and we did not look for a bag, phone or sunglasses.
Look 1: Neutral clean-girl
Our idea: a crisp white top over plain tan shorts, with near-white curls and a small gold crown, so the whole look stays in soft neutrals. The face and hair come from Lana’s Salon, the arch on the left behind the Dressing Room landing; the top and shorts come from the tops shelf on the right wall and the shelf on the left wall facing the short-dress shelf.

The Wearing panel now shows three pictures: the hair, the top and the shorts. Its pictures keep each piece’s original colours after you recolour them, so go by the character, not the panel.

The finished look is a white satin halter top with a heart-shaped cut-out at the neck, tan fitted shorts that reach the upper thigh, long platinum curls and a small gold crown.

Chic puts one hand on the hip, a simple posed stance that suits the clean, neutral outfit.

From behind, the long platinum curls cover most of the back of the outfit.

Look 2: Old-money chic
Our idea: a polished, preppy outfit in cream and tan, with black ribbons and a black belt as the one contrast colour and long white gloves to dress it up. The face and hairstyle stay from Look 1; the shirt and skirt come from one stand on the short-dress shelf, and the gloves from the shelf facing it.

The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered, and the shirt and skirt cover them.

The Wearing panel now shows the hair, the shirt, the skirt and the gloves.

The finished look is a cream shirt with a black bow at the neck and black ribbons on the sleeves, a tan skirt with cream pleats and a black belt, long white gloves that reach above the elbow, long ash-brown curls and the small gold crown.

Pearly raises one gloved hand to the forehead and rests the other on the hip, which shows off the long gloves.

From behind, the ash-brown curls fall over the shirt, with the skirt’s cream pleats showing below.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Instagram Model
An Instagram Model look should read as polished and camera-ready rather than loud. Keep every part in soft neutrals such as white, cream and tan so the outfit reads as one calm, coordinated look, and allow one contrast colour at most, like the black ribbons and belt in Look 2. Long, styled hair and a posed stance with a hand on the hip or at the face finish the selfie-ready feel. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.
How to recolour a piece and set its material
- Click the piece on its shelf or stand, or its picture in the Wearing panel if you already wear it.
- Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Shirt”, “2/3: Shirt & Sleeves Ribbon” and so on).
- Choose its colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette; columns are hues, rows run light to dark, row 8 runs from white to black).
- Open the “+” tab and click the material, such as Silk, Matte or Glitter.
- Repeat for every part. For a new piece, click “Put On” when the label shows; if it does not, closing the panel while the piece previews keeps it on.
To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. Material tiles with a gold star are star-locked, so leave them alone if you have no stars. The material list carries the line “Some materials only work with higher qualities.”

Poses for Instagram Model
We used Chic for the white halter look and Pearly for the cream shirt-and-skirt look, both free under Solo in the Poses menu. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to try colours and materials calmly, sit at the vanity and the hair chairs without rushing, walk the look down the Freeplay Runway and check how it reads. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Instagram Model comes up in a real round. If you want a sharper runway look instead, our Top Model outfit ideas use black and white corset pieces. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Summer Camp, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth and Wonderland outfit ideas.
How a theme round works
We have not had Instagram Model as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it, and other themes we saw came with a short hint card. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players with the stars each earned, followed by an “Intermission” countdown of about a minute.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Instagram Model to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Instagram Model, so these looks have not walked a real Instagram Model round: there is no score, star count or vote for them, and we have not seen a hint card for the theme. We wore no shoes and did not look for a bag, phone or sunglasses. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What counts as Instagram Model in Dress To Impress?
The game gives only the theme’s name. We read it as trendy and camera-ready: soft neutrals, long styled curls and a posed, selfie-style stance.
Can I do Instagram Model without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, face, hairstyle, colour and material used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them. Silk, Matte and Glitter are free materials; tiles with a gold star are star-locked.
Which colours work for Instagram Model?
For Look 1 we used white (column 1, row 8) Silk on the top, tan (column 3, row 1) Matte on the shorts and cream (column 9, row 2) Silk on the hair. For Look 2, cream, black (column 9, row 8), tan and white, all Silk, with brown (column 4, row 1) Silk hair.
Where are the gloves and shorts?
Both are on the top shelf of the left-wall shelf that faces the short-dress shelf in the Dressing Room. The shorts are the first item; the long white gloves sit further along.
Which pose fits Instagram Model?
Chic, with one hand on the hip, for the white halter look, and Pearly, with one gloved hand to the forehead and the other on the hip, for the cream shirt-and-skirt look. Both are free under Solo.
