Cyberpunk Dress To Impress: 2 Neon Outfit Ideas (Bomber and Strap Jacket)

Two complete Cyberpunk looks built from free pieces, with exact palette positions, materials and poses for each part.

Two complete Cyberpunk looks built from free pieces, with exact palette positions, materials and poses for each part.

Cyberpunk is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox, and the game gives you only the name. We read it as black leather and metal lit up with glowing neon, cyan and hot pink, plus a tech touch such as goggles or buckles. That reading is ours, not an in-game rule. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, with our own picture for each step: a black bomber with cyan Neon goggles, and a studded black strap jacket with a glowing cyan belt. Both use only free pieces and free materials.

Quick answer: Wear black Leather with Neon accents: a black bomber with glowing cyan goggles, a black Metallic heart mini and magenta Neon curls, or a studded black strap jacket with a cyan Neon belt, hot pink sleeves and cyan curls.

Cyberpunk outfit ideas in Dress To Impress

Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits in the Dressing Room, what it looks like and the exact palette spot we used. Look 1 builds on a bomber and goggles from a bust in the hall; Look 2 takes two jackets from the round Halloween display. The hair in both is the long curls with a crown from Lana’s Salon (Feminine tab, 3rd card).

Look 1: Black bomber with neon goggles

Our idea: a black street look with one glowing tech piece over the eyes and hair that looks lit from inside.

This look starts from two pieces we already had on: the mini dress with a heart cut-out (short-dress shelf, bottom row, left; it is pink on the shelf) and the long curls with a crown from Lana’s Salon. Put those on first if you are not wearing them; their colours change later in the build.

Find the bust wearing a brown bomber jacket with flight goggles on its head. It stands on the floor in front of the wall with shirts on shelves and denim overalls, next to the round Halloween display in the hall.

Click the jacket. Its panel opens at “1/2: Preview”: choose black (column 9, row 8) on the Palette tab, then open “+” and click Leather.

Move to “2/2: Preview” with the right arrow, choose hot pink (column 2, row 5) and click Neon. Press “Put On”.

Click the goggles on the bust’s head, not the jacket. Set “1/3: Preview” to grey (column 4, row 8) with Metallic, “2/3: Preview” to black with Leather and “3/3: Preview” to cyan (column 5, row 4) with Neon, then press “Put On”. The goggles sit over the eyes with glowing cyan lenses and black straps.

With the jacket and goggles on, the rest of the outfit still has its old colours. Both are changed next from the Wearing panel.

Open the Wearing panel (the round hat button on the right side). It shows four pieces: the hair, the dress, the jacket and the goggles. The pictures keep each piece’s original colours, so the dress still shows pink and the jacket brown there.

Click the hair’s picture. Set “1/4: Preview” to hot pink with Neon and “2/4: Preview” to purple (column 3, row 5) with Neon. The curls turn a glowing magenta.

The finished look on the Freeplay Runway: glowing magenta curls, cyan Neon goggles over the eyes, a black bomber and a black Metallic mini with the skin showing through the heart cut-out at the chest. The bomber’s hot pink part barely shows, only as a thin pink line down the front, so the jacket reads as plain black leather. Legs and feet are bare; no shoes were added.

Look 2: Neon strap jacket

Our idea: harder edges, with buckles, studs and a glowing belt, and the hair switched to cold cyan and blue.

In the Wearing panel, take off the bomber, the goggles and the heart mini with the heart X under each picture, and keep the hair. With no dress on, the character shows a black top and black shorts. They are the base body, not a piece: you can cover them but not take them off.
In the Dressing Room hall, walk onto the round raised display: mannequins stand under a thorny arch with pumpkins and lanterns around them.

Press the “Put On” label, not your own character. In our build a click on the character opened a different dress standing behind it, which then had to be taken off again in the Wearing panel.

Under the strap jacket the crop-top piece barely shows: only a hot pink bow at the collar is visible. Its skirt did not come with it, so the black base shorts show and read as black hot pants. The Wearing panel now lists three pieces: the hair, the strap jacket and the crop-top piece.

On the Freeplay Runway the jackets were on, but the curls were still magenta with the cyan crown from Look 1.

The finished look: a black leather jacket with silver studs down the front, a wide glowing cyan buckled belt at the waist with a row of studs, hot pink sleeves down to the hands and a hot pink bow at the collar, over the black base shorts. The curls glow cyan and blue under a hot pink crown. Legs and feet are bare.

Why these looks read as Cyberpunk

Cyberpunk looks work from a black base with one or two colours that glow against it. Neon on a few parts (lenses, a belt, sleeves, the hair) does that job, while Leather and Metallic give the shine of a city at night. A tech piece such as goggles, or hardware like buckles and studs, finishes it. It is a different brief from Robot Takeover, which is silver and metal all over; see our Robot Takeover outfit ideas for that. This is plain styling advice; neither look has been through a real Cyberpunk vote.

How to make clothes glow (Neon) and set materials

Click the piece on its shelf, bust or mannequin, or click its picture in the Wearing panel if you already wear it.
Pick the part with the arrows; the label shows it as “n/N: …”.
Choose the colour on the Palette tab.
Open “+” and click the material. Neon makes the part glow in the colour you chose; Leather and Metallic give it a shine.
Repeat for each part. For a new piece, set everything while it previews on you, then press “Put On”. Take a piece off with the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel.

Material tiles with a gold star are star-locked; do not click them. The panel itself says “Some materials only work with higher qualities.” Leather, Neon and Metallic, used here, are free.

Cyberpunk colours on the Default palette

On the Default palette, columns run left to right through the hues, and rows go from light to dark; row 8 runs from white to black. These are the six spots both looks use.

Cyberpunk pieces to look for

None of these pieces has a name in the game, so look for them by place and shape. All of them are free in Freeplay Mode and worked on our account with no VIP and 0 stars. The small pictures show each piece in the colours we gave it.

One piece that looks right is not usable yet: the grey long coat on the short-dress shelf’s top row shows “Play 5 rounds to equip – (0/5)” when clicked.

Building it in Freeplay Mode first

Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to try colours and materials, walk the look down the Freeplay Runway and see how the Neon parts glow. Once a look works, you know which bust, mannequin, palette spots and materials to go to when Cyberpunk comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale and Cotton Candy Couture outfit ideas, and for pose ideas, every free pose in Dress To Impress.

How a theme round works

We have not had Cyberpunk as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes (Plaid Fashion and Birds of Paradise). On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it, and the icon at the top centre opens a hint card for the theme. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen. A “Results” card then ranks the players with the stars each earned, followed by an “Intermission” countdown of about a minute.

The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Cyberpunk to roll.

What we have not checked

These looks have not walked a real Cyberpunk round, so there is no score, star count or vote for them. We added no shoes, makeup or bags, and the goggles are the only accessory. Both were built with 0 stars and 245 pink cash, and nothing was bought.

FAQ

What does Cyberpunk mean in Dress To Impress?

The game gives only the name. We read it as black leather and metal with glowing neon colours, cyan and hot pink, plus tech touches like goggles and buckles, and built both outfits that way.

Can I do Cyberpunk without VIP?

Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, colour and material used here worked on it. Leather, Neon and Metallic are free materials.

How do I make clothes glow in Dress To Impress?

Click the piece, pick the part with the arrows, choose a colour, then open “+” and click Neon. The part glows in the colour you chose.

Where are the goggles?

On the head of the bust wearing the brown bomber jacket, in front of the shirts and denim overalls wall near the round Halloween display. Click the goggles themselves; a click on the jacket opens the jacket instead.

Why are black shorts showing under my jacket?

They are the character’s base body, which can be covered but not taken off. The crop-top piece in Look 2 came without its skirt, so the shorts show; add a skirt or dress if you want them covered.

Can I pick the Cyberpunk theme?

Only with Theme Props, which cost Robux (the “Buy More” button shows 75). We bought none and saw no free ones, so the theme has to come up on its own.
