Summer Camp is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox, and the game gives you only its name. We have not had it as a round yet, so the reading here is ours: casual outdoor camp clothes in denim, khaki and olive, one red accent on a cap or a hat ribbon, boots, and easy curls. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, blue denim overalls with a red cap and a trail-day outfit with a sun hat and fringed boots, with our own picture for each step. Every piece, hairstyle, face and material used is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: Go for easy outdoor pieces: blue Denim overalls with a red-and-white cap, or an olive tee with khaki shorts, a tan sun hat and brown fringed boots, finished with the Confident or Petal pose.
Summer Camp outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits in the Dressing Room, what it looks like and the exact spot we used on the Default palette. Both looks share the same long curls and the soft glam full face from the vanity in Lana’s Salon (Feminine tab, third row, second card), which we kept from our earlier looks.
Look 1: Denim overalls and red cap
Our idea: one-piece blue denim overalls with a bright red cap, the simplest camp outfit there is. Both pieces come off one mannequin on the men’s-wear wall; the curls come from Lana’s Salon.

The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered.

The Wearing panel now shows three pictures: the hair, the overalls and the cap.

With the overalls on, we clicked the white hoodie on the shelf beside the mannequin and the game showed “Can’t be put on.” in red. So the overalls went over the black base top, which shows at the chest in this look.

Step to “2/2: Preview” and set tan (column 3, row 1) with Matte. We saw no visible change from this part on the runway, so it is optional.

We left the hair’s “3/4” and “4/4” parts as they were; under the cap they do not show in our pictures.
The finished look is bright royal blue denim overalls over the black base top, a red cap with a white band and long light brown curls. We wore no shoes.

Confident puts one hand on the head and raises one knee, which shows off the cap and the full length of the overalls.

From the back, the red cap sits over the light brown curls, with the overall straps crossing the shoulders.

Look 2: Trail day with sun hat and boots
Our idea: an outfit for a day on the trail, an olive tee and khaki shorts with a wide tan sun hat and brown fringed knee boots, and a red ribbon as the one bright accent. The tee, hat and boots are all on the right wall around the boho mannequin; the shorts are on the left wall.

Check the Wearing panel after every shelf visit, since a shelf click can put on a piece you did not mean to wear.

We left the boots brown, as they come, and kept the light brown curls from Look 1.
The finished look is a tan sun hat with a red ribbon, long light brown curls, an olive fitted tee, khaki shorts and brown fringed knee boots.

Petal turns the body to the side with a hand at the waist, which shows the hat’s wide brim and the curls.

From the back, the hat brim and the long curls cover the shoulders, with the small white bows showing at the top of the tee.

Add to Google Preferences →Why these looks read as Summer Camp
Camp clothes are practical clothes, so both looks stay in denim, khaki and olive, with Denim or Matte materials that look like real fabric rather than shine. One red accent, the cap in Look 1 and the hat ribbon in Look 2, keeps each outfit bright without turning it into a costume. A cap or a wide sun hat and boots say “outdoors” at a glance from the audience, and relaxed curls suit the easy mood. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.
How to recolour a piece and set its material
- Click the piece on its shelf or mannequin; when a “Put On” label shows, click it. Once you wear the piece, click its picture in the Wearing panel to open its colour panel again.
- Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Hat”, “2/3: Ribbon”, “3/3: Lace” and so on).
- Open the “+” tab and click the material, such as Denim, Matte or Silk.
- Choose the colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette; columns are hues, rows run light to dark, and row 8 runs from white to black).
- Repeat for every part. The colours stay on the piece after you close the panel.
To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. Material tiles with a gold star are star-locked, so leave them alone if you have no stars. The material list carries the line “Some materials only work with higher qualities.” The Patterns tab sits next to Palette; we did not use it for these looks.

Poses for Summer Camp
We used Confident for the denim overalls and Petal for the trail-day look, both free under Solo in the Poses menu. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to walk the Dressing Room, try colours and materials calmly and check how a look reads on the Freeplay Runway. Once a look works, you know which wall, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Summer Camp comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Instagram Model, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth and Wonderland outfit ideas.
How a theme round works
We have not had Summer Camp as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Summer Camp to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Summer Camp, so these looks have not walked a real Summer Camp round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not see or look for a backpack, a flannel or plaid shirt, or camping props. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What counts as Summer Camp in Dress To Impress?
The game gives only the name. We read it as casual outdoor camp clothes: denim, khaki and olive, one red accent, a cap or a wide sun hat, boots and relaxed hair.
Can I do Summer Camp without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, face, hairstyle, colour and material used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them. Denim, Matte and Silk are free materials; tiles with a gold star are star-locked.
Where are the overalls and the cap?
On the full mannequin on the men’s-wear wall, beside the Halloween display circle in the Dressing Room. Walk right up to it, then click the overalls and the cap on its head.
Where are the sun hat and the fringed boots?
On and beside the boho mannequin next to the tops shelf on the right wall: the hat is on its head and the boots are on its table. The lilac tee for Look 2 is on that tops shelf, middle row, left.
Which pose fits Summer Camp?
Confident, with one hand on the head and one knee raised, for the denim overalls, and Petal, turned to the side with a hand at the waist, for the trail-day look. Both are free under Solo.
