Beer is a food and drink item you pick up from the world in Permafrost. It gives 10 Energy when you drink it, and the game treats it as a drink to share with others rather than to have alone. Traders also sell it.
Beer lies on the map at Military Area and at Promenade (House Camp), with 4 spots each, so either makes a sensible first stop. Greenhouse has 2 spots, and the Water Tower, Renegade Camp and Church each have 1. Beyond the loose spots, it can turn up inside fridges, frozen bodies, lockers, military crates, suitcases and toolboxes, so search these as you pass through. If you would rather buy it, Anna, Eric Hirsch and Jeremiah Crow stock it.
