In-game description
Vodka is a food-and-drink item, a strong spirit that braces you against the cold. Drinking it gives Cold Resistance 20 and clears Parasites, Infected Wound and Nasty Wound, so one bottle in your pack can deal with an infection or a bad wound as well as the chill.
The map has 5 spots where Vodka lies ready to pick up. Promenade (House Camp) has 3 of them, which makes it the place to head first, and the Military Area has 1. Beyond those spots, Vodka can turn up in bags, damaged cars, damaged vans, fridges, frozen bodies, insulated crates, military crates, suitcases and toolboxes, so it is worth checking any of these you pass. Eric Hirsch and the General Trader both stock it if you would rather buy a bottle than search for one.
