In-game description
Plastic Junk is a resource made up of thrown-out plastic bits and other synthetic leftovers. Its one job is to be taken apart, which gives you Plastic.
The map has 31 spots where it lies, and they cluster at Promenade (House Camp) with 7, Water Tower with 5 and Greenhouse with 4, with 2 more at Church. It can also turn up in bins, carts of trash, frozen bodies, insulated crates, lockers, office cabinets, quality crates, safes, suitcases and toolboxes, so it is worth checking those as you loot.
