Metal Junk is a resource: a heap of thrown-out metal parts and rusted odds and ends. You break it down to get Scrap. A trader charges 5 Bucks for it.
The map has 26 spots where Metal Junk lies ready to pick up, and they cluster at Promenade (House Camp), with 10, and the Greenhouse, with 7. The Church and the Water Tower have 1 each. You can also find it inside a Bin, Cart of Trash, Frozen body, Insulated Crate, Locker, Office cabinet, Quality crate, Safe, Toolbox or Trash Contrainer. If you would rather spend Bucks than search, Eric Hirsch stocks it.
