Valuable pack of few military rations.
In-game description
A Bag of MRE is a military food pack holding a handful of ration meals. Eating it restores 300 Hunger, 25 Energy and 50 Stamina, so one bag tops up your food and gives you a lift for the next stretch of a trip. It is also worth something in trade, so a spare bag can be sold to a trader instead of eaten.
The map has 6 spots where a Bag of MRE lies ready to pick up. The Military Area holds 3 of them, Promenade (House Camp) has 2 and the Water Tower has 1, so the Military Area is the place to head first. Outside those spots, it can turn up inside a Bag, a Damaged Car, a Damaged Van, a Frozen body, an Insulated Crate or a Military crate, so it is worth checking these as you pass. Eric Hirsch stocks it if you would rather buy one.
