Honey is a food item in Permafrost that the game presents as a natural remedy, and it works on two fronts at once. Eating it raises your Hunger by 60 and also restores some Health, so a single jar covers a meal and patches up minor damage in one go. That double effect makes it worth keeping a jar in your pack for long trips away from camp, when you need to eat and recover without spending two items to do it.

Honey lies in the world ready to pick up, and the map has 4 spots for it. The Greenhouse has 2 of them, the best return for a single trip. The other two are split between Promenade (House Camp) and the Military Area, with 1 at each. If you would rather not go out looking, Eric Hirsch and Logan Boyce both stock it, so you can buy it from either trader when you meet them.
