Sugar And Spice Dress To Impress: 2 Outfit Ideas (Pastel Sweet and Red Corset)

Two free looks for the Sugar And Spice theme, with every piece's location, palette colour, material and pose.

Two free looks for the Sugar And Spice theme, with every piece’s location, palette colour, material and pose.

Sugar And Spice (often searched as “sugar and spice dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. We have not had it as a round yet, so we have not seen its hint card, and the reading here is ours: the name splits into a sweet side and a spicy side. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, one for each: a soft pastel pink outfit with frills, lavender shorts and a big sun hat, and a red corset top with black lacing and dark red curls. Every step has our own picture. Every piece, hairstyle and material used is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.

Quick answer: For sugar, layer a pink ruffle over a pale pink tube top with lavender shorts and a pale pink sun hat in Light Silk, plus pink curls. For spice, wear the studded corset top in red Leather with black lacing.

Sugar And Spice outfit ideas in Dress To Impress

Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the exact palette spot we used on the Default palette. Both looks keep the long curls with a small crown and gem from the hair-dryer chairs in Lana’s Salon, the same hairstyle we wore for Pop Art Princess; we came in wearing them black and recoloured them on the runway. Both looks keep the soft glam face the character already had, and both are barefoot: we wore no shoes.

Look 1 (Sugar): pastel pink frills, lavender shorts and a sun hat

Our idea: everything soft and light, pale pink and lavender with frills and a wide sun hat, so the whole look reads sweet from across the runway. The top pieces and the hat are on the tops shelf and the boho mannequin beside it; the shorts are on the left-wall shelf; the colours are set on the Freeplay Runway.

Open the Wearing panel and take off everything apart from the hair, with the heart X under each picture.

The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered; in this look the tube top and the shorts cover them.

Go to the tops shelf in the Dressing Room, the one next to the boho mannequin with the big hat and brown boots.

The Wearing panel now shows five pictures: the hair, the pink tube top, the ruffle layer, the sun hat and the shorts.

Look 2 (Spice): red corset with black lacing

Our idea: the opposite of the sugar look, one strong red piece with black detail and dark red hair. It needs only one clothing piece, from the Halloween display circle in the middle of the Dressing Room hall.

Open the Wearing panel and take off the tube top, the ruffle layer, the hat and the shorts, so only the hair is left.

The black base top and shorts show again. The corset goes over the top; the base black shorts stay as the bottom of this look.

Why these looks read as Sugar And Spice

The theme gives you two moods, so make each look commit to one of them. For sugar, keep every colour light (pale pink, pink and lavender), choose soft shapes like frills and a wide brim, and use Light Silk so the pastels stay gentle rather than shiny. For spice, use one strong red, add black for contrast in the lacing, hair and crown, and pick Leather so the red has a sheen. Darker hair with red streaks keeps the spicy side bold. You can also mix them, a pastel outfit with one red accent, but we built and photographed only the two pure looks. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolour a piece and set its material

  1. Click the piece on its shelf or mannequin, then “Put On” when the label shows. Once you wear it, click its picture in the Wearing panel to open its colour panel again.
  2. Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Preview”, “2/3: Preview” and so on). Each part takes its own colour and material.
  3. Open the “+” tab and click the material, such as Light Silk, Silk, Leather, Matte, Metallic or Glitter.
  4. Choose its colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette: columns are hues, rows run light to dark, and row 8 runs from white to black).
  5. Repeat for every part. The colours stay on the piece after you close the panel.

To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. Material tiles with a gold star are star-locked; every material used here has no star. The Patterns tab sits next to Palette; we did not use it for these looks.

Poses for Sugar And Spice

We used Daisy for the sugar look and Dazzle for the spice look, both free under Solo in the Poses menu. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.

Building it in Freeplay Mode first

Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to layer the ruffle over the tube top, try the pastels part by part, check the corset’s lacing in black and walk both looks down the Freeplay Runway to see how they read. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Sugar And Spice comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Instagram Model, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Summer Camp, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth, Wonderland, Trip To London, Pop Art Princess, Paranormal Investigator, Cursed Lagoon, Complementary Colors, Galactic Glam, Dancer and Midnight Circus outfit ideas.

How a theme round works

We have not had Sugar And Spice as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.

The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Sugar And Spice to roll.

What we have not checked

No round we joined rolled Sugar And Spice, so these looks have not walked a real Sugar And Spice round: there is no score, star count or vote for them, and we have not seen the theme’s hint card. We added no shoes, gloves or stockings to either look. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.

FAQ

What is Sugar And Spice in Dress To Impress?

The game gives only the theme’s name. We read it as two moods: sugar is soft and sweet (pastel pink and lavender, frills, a sun hat), spice is bold (red and black, a corset, dark red hair).

Should I go sweet, spicy or both for Sugar And Spice?

Either works as a reading of the name. We built one look for each side; we have not walked either in a real round, so we cannot say which one voters prefer.

Can I do Sugar And Spice without VIP?

Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, hairstyle, colour and material used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them. Tiles with a gold star on the “+” tab are star-locked; we used none.

Where is the corset top for Sugar And Spice?

On the Halloween display circle in the middle of the Dressing Room hall. Stand on the podium and click the mannequin at the far right, beside the dark jacket: a dark grey lace-up corset with silver studs that you can recolour red.

Which colours work for Sugar And Spice?

For sugar: pale pink (column 2, row 2), pink (column 2, row 3) and lavender (column 3, row 2) with Light Silk. For spice: red (column 1, row 6) with Leather, deep red (column 1, row 7) and black (column 9, row 8).

Which pose fits Sugar And Spice?

We used the free Solo poses Daisy for the sugar look (both arms raised over the head) and Dazzle for the spice look (a hand at the waist, head turned).
