Galactic Glam is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so we read it as space glamour: night-sky purples and blues, silver, and as much shine as the free materials allow. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, a purple Glitter dress with a blue Foil overlay and a blue Metallic jacket over a Glitter mini skirt, with our own picture for every step. Every piece, colour, material and pose used is free, so you can do both without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: Wear night-sky purple and blue with silver, and finish every part in a shiny free material. We used a deep purple Glitter dress with a blue Foil overlay and silver lace, plus silver curls and a crown.
Galactic Glam outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the exact spot we used on the Default palette. Both looks use the long curls with a small crown and gem that we were already wearing, and both get their shine from the free materials on the “+” tab: Glitter, Foil, Metallic and Neon. No piece with a star or planet print was used; the space feel comes from colour and material alone. Both looks are barefoot: we wore no shoes.
Look 1 (Starry night dress): purple Glitter with a blue Foil overlay
It needs one piece, the five-part layered dress from the bottom row of the short-dress shelf; the rest is colour and material, set on the Freeplay Runway.
The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered; in this look the dress covers both.

The Wearing panel now shows two pictures: the hair and the dress. Our curls were still bright blue from an earlier look at this point; they change last.

Set “2/4: Preview” to the same light grey with Metallic. Now the whole head of curls is white-silver.

Set “3/4: Crown” to Metallic and white (column 1, row 8).

Finally set “4/4: Gem” to Glitter and blue (column 4, row 5), so the silver crown carries a blue gem.

The finished look is a short dress that shimmers royal blue, with a purple Glitter bodice and front panel, white-silver lace trim and a purple band at the neck, long white-silver curls and a silver crown with a blue gem.

We took the pose picture on the floor just beside the runway; Shimmer tilts the head to one side with one knee bent, which keeps the whole dress in view.

From the back, the silver curls cover most of the dress, with the blue and purple showing at the hem.

Look 2 (Cosmic pop star): blue Metallic jacket and Glitter mini skirt
It uses one mannequin’s outfit from the Halloween circle in the Dressing Room: a cropped jacket with a piano-key print and the mini skirt under it, taken as two pieces. The curls stay the same hairstyle as Look 1.

The Wearing panel now shows the hair and the skirt.

The Wearing panel now shows three pictures: the hair, the skirt and the jacket.

Set “3/3: Piano” to Neon and violet (column 3, row 5). The piano-print cuffs and the striped bow at the neck glow a hot pink-violet.

Set “2/4: Preview” to the same blue with Glitter. The whole head of curls turns a bright blue.

Set “3/4: Crown” to Metallic and light grey (column 2, row 8).

Then set “4/4: Gem” to Neon and violet (column 3, row 5); on the runway the gem reads pink-violet.

The finished look is a shiny blue cropped jacket with neon pink-violet cuffs and a striped bow at the neck, a blue Glitter mini skirt with a silver zip, long bright blue curls and a silver crown with a pink-violet gem. The jacket is cropped, so the base black top shows under it.

From the back, the blue curls fall over the jacket, with a neon cuff and the blue Glitter skirt showing below them.

Add to Google Preferences →Which colours and materials read as Galactic Glam
Think of a night sky with a spotlight on it: dark purples and blues for the base, silver for the stars, and a shiny finish on everything. A dark colour under a Foil overlay, as on the Look 1 dress, gives a deep shimmer, and Metallic on the palette’s light grey gives silver on clothes and on hair alike. Glitter suits the large areas, Neon is best kept to small accents such as cuffs, a bow or a gem, and a crown in silver finishes either look. Avoid flat, matte colours and earthy shades, which read daytime rather than cosmic. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.
How to recolour a piece and set its material
- Click the piece on its shelf or mannequin, then “Put On” when the label shows. Once you wear it, click its picture in the Wearing panel to open its colour panel again.
- Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/5: Dress”, “2/5: Sheer Overlay” and so on). Each part takes its own colour and material.
- Open the “+” tab and click the material: Glitter, Foil, Metallic or Neon for this theme.
- Choose its colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette: columns are hues, rows run light to dark, and the bottom row runs from white to black).
- Repeat for every part. The colours stay on the piece after you close the panel.
To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. The Patterns tab sits next to Palette; we did not use it for these looks.

Pieces with many parts give the most shine to play with: the five-part dress takes a different material on its base, its overlay and its lace. Poses for Galactic Glam
We used Shimmer for the starry night dress and Sparkle for the cosmic pop star look, both free under Solo in the Poses menu and on the same list page. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to set five dress parts and four hair parts one by one and check how each material looks on the runway. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Galactic Glam comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Instagram Model, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Summer Camp, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth, Wonderland, Trip To London, Pop Art Princess, Sugar And Spice, Paranormal Investigator, Cursed Lagoon, Complementary Colors, Dancer and Midnight Circus outfit ideas.
How a theme round works
We have not had Galactic Glam as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Galactic Glam to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Galactic Glam, so these looks have not walked a real Galactic Glam round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We saw no piece with a star or planet print and used none; both looks are colour and material only. Both were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What is Galactic Glam in Dress To Impress?
It is one of the round themes. The game gives only the name; we read it as space glamour: night-sky purples and blues, silver, and shiny materials such as Glitter, Foil, Metallic and Neon.
Can you do Galactic Glam without VIP?
Yes. Every piece, colour, material and pose in both looks was free on our account, with no VIP and 0 stars.
Which colours and materials did you use?
On the Default palette: deep purple (column 3, row 7) with Glitter, blues in column 4 (rows 5 to 7) with Foil, Glitter and Metallic, violet (column 3, row 5) with Neon, and light grey or white in row 8 with Metallic for silver.

The layered dress is in the middle of the bottom row of the short-dress shelf in the Dressing Room. The piano-print cropped jacket and its mini skirt are on the mannequin left of centre on the far side of the Halloween circle podium.

We used the free Solo poses Shimmer for the starry night dress and Sparkle (a hand raised to the head) for the cosmic pop star look.
