Cursed Lagoon Dress To Impress: 2 Outfit Ideas (Sea Siren and Lagoon Witch)

Two free Freeplay Mode outfits with the exact pieces, palette spots, materials, and poses for the Cursed Lagoon theme.

Two free Freeplay Mode outfits with the exact pieces, palette spots, materials, and poses for the Cursed Lagoon theme.

Cursed Lagoon (often searched as “cursed lagoon dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so the reading here is ours: an eerie creature from a haunted lagoon, dressed in sea green with a wet-looking shimmer and a few dark accents. Below are two complete looks we built in Freeplay Mode, a drowned sea siren and a darker lagoon witch, with our own picture for every step. Every piece, hairstyle and material used is free, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.

Quick answer: For a sea siren, recolour the plum short dress sea green with Glitter under a dark sea-green Foil overlay, with green curls and a green crown. For a lagoon witch, wear the studded Halloween-circle corset in green Leather.

Cursed Lagoon outfit ideas in Dress To Impress

Dress To Impress shows no item names, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and the exact spot we used on the Default palette. Both looks use the long curls with a small crown and gem that we were already wearing; they came in white and we recoloured them on the runway. Both keep the character’s soft glam face, and both are barefoot: we wore no shoes.

Look 1 (Sea siren): layered sea-green dress and green curls

Our idea: a drowned siren, all sea green, with a sheer shimmering layer over the dress so it looks wet under the runway lights. It needs one dress from the short-dress shelf; everything else is colour and material, set on the Freeplay Runway.

Open the Wearing panel and take off everything apart from the hair, with the heart X under each picture.

The black top and black shorts that show now are the base body, not a piece. They cannot be taken off, only covered; the dress covers them in this look.

Go to the short-dress shelf in the Dressing Room, on the wall beside the counter with the shorts, gloves and stockings. Its bottom row holds the pink heart mini, a dark plum dress and a white strapless dress.

Click the dark plum dress. The colour panel opens at “1/5: Dress” and the dress shows on the character.

Close the colour panel. The dress stayed on for us: the Wearing panel now shows the hair and the dress.

Walk to the Freeplay Runway and click the dress’s picture in the Wearing panel. For “1/5: Dress”, set the material on the “+” tab to Glitter, then the colour on Palette to sea green (column 6, row 6). The base of the dress turns sea green; the plum layers over it stay plum until their turn.

Step on with the right arrow to “2/5: Sheer Overlay” and set it to dark sea green (column 6, row 7) with Foil. Do not use bright green here: our first try, bright green (column 7, row 5) with Foil, turned the whole dress neon lime, as below. We went back and fixed it after the hair (step 9).

Our first try at "2/5: Sheer Overlay": bright green Foil reads neon lime.
Set “3/5: Shawl” to dark green (column 7, row 7) with Silk, “4/5: Lace” to dark sea green (column 6, row 7) with Metallic, and “5/5: Overlay Lace” to light sea green (column 6, row 5) with Foil. In our picture the neon first try is still on the overlay, so these layers barely show yet.

Click the hair’s picture. Set “1/4: Preview” to light sea green (column 6, row 5) with Glitter; the white curls turn a pale mint.

Then set “2/4: Preview” to black (column 9, row 8) with Silk. The curls deepen to green with dark streaks running through them.

Finally set “4/4: Gem” to bright green (column 7, row 5) with Glitter: a green crown with a glowing green stone.

Open the dress again and set “2/5: Sheer Overlay” to dark sea green (column 6, row 7) with Foil, if you have not already. Over the Glitter base it reads a shimmery sea green instead of neon.

The finished look is a layered sea-green mini dress with a sheer shimmering overlay and a green band at the neck, long green curls with dark streaks, and a green crown with a bright green gem.

Open Poses and pick Magica under Solo. It is on the same list page as Chic, Sleek, Confident, Pose 28, Velvet and Prism.

Magica lifts one leg and holds both arms out to the sides, which spreads the curls and shows the sheer layer of the dress.

Look 2 (Lagoon witch): green corset with black studs

Our idea: the siren’s darker sister, a witch from the same water. It needs only one clothing piece, a studded corset top from the Halloween display circle in the middle of the Dressing Room hall.

Open the Wearing panel and take off the dress, so only the hair is left.

The black base top and shorts show again. The corset goes over the top; the base black shorts stay as the bottom of this look.

Why these looks read as Cursed Lagoon

The theme pairs water with something wrong, so keep every look in the greens of murky water and add one thing that feels off. Shimmer does the water part: Glitter and Foil make sea green look wet, and a sheer Foil layer over a Glitter base is what makes the siren’s dress read like it has just come out of the lagoon. Dark accents do the cursed part: black streaks in the hair, black studs, a dark crown. Stay on the darker rows of columns 6 and 7; the brightest greens look cheerful or neon rather than haunted. This is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolour a piece and set its material

  1. Click the piece on its shelf or mannequin, then “Put On” when the label shows. Once you wear it, click its picture in the Wearing panel to open its colour panel again.
  2. Pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/5: Dress”, “2/5: Sheer Overlay” and so on). Each part takes its own colour and material.
  3. Open the “+” tab and click the material, such as Glitter, Foil, Leather, Metallic or Silk.
  4. Choose its colour on the Palette tab (the Default palette: columns are hues, rows run light to dark, and row 8 runs from white to black).
  5. Repeat for every part. The colours stay on the piece after you close the panel.

To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture in the Wearing panel. The Patterns tab sits next to Palette; we did not use it for these looks.

Poses for Cursed Lagoon

We used Magica for the sea siren and Twilight for the lagoon witch, both free under Solo in the Poses menu. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.

Building it in Freeplay Mode first

Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to try each green part by part and see how the sheer overlay changes the dress before it counts. Our neon-lime overlay is the kind of mistake you only see on the runway. Once a look works, you know which shelf, which palette spots and which materials to go to when Cursed Lagoon comes up in a real round. For more themes built the same way, see our Boho, Robot Takeover, Album Cover, Potion Maker, Monochrome Mood, Divine Beings, Drag, Sweet 16, Camouflage, Deserted Island, Summer Cruise, Favorite Show, Fairytale, Cotton Candy Couture, Cyberpunk, Birth Stones, Y2K Popstar, Video Game Character, Top Model, Fast Food Mascot, DJ, Award Show, Drama Queen, Instagram Model, Day of the Dead, Malibu Dream, Stained Glass, Summer Camp, Modern Royalty, Trad Goth, Wonderland, Trip To London, Pop Art Princess, Sugar And Spice, Paranormal Investigator, Complementary Colors, Galactic Glam, Dancer, Midnight Circus, Jellyfish and Garden Tea Party outfit ideas.

How a theme round works

We have not had Cursed Lagoon as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.

The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Cursed Lagoon to roll.

What we have not checked

No round we joined rolled Cursed Lagoon, so these looks have not walked a real Cursed Lagoon round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not see or use any fins, tail, shells or seaweed pieces, and we used no makeup from the vanity. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.

FAQ

What is Cursed Lagoon in Dress To Impress?

The game gives only the theme’s name. We read it as an eerie water creature from a haunted lagoon: sea green and green, a wet shimmer from Glitter or Foil, and dark accents such as black streaks and studs.

Can I do Cursed Lagoon without VIP?

Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every piece, hairstyle, colour and material used here worked on it, with no lock or price on any of them.

Is there a mermaid tail for Cursed Lagoon?

We did not see one. Neither look uses a tail, fins or shells; the sea creature feel comes from the colours, the shimmer and the hair.

Where are the dress and the corset?

The dress is the dark plum one in the bottom row of the short-dress shelf, between the pink heart mini and the white strapless dress. The corset is on the Halloween display circle in the middle of the Dressing Room hall, on the mannequin right of centre beside the dark jacket.

Which colours work for Cursed Lagoon?

The sea greens in column 6 (rows 5 to 7) and the greens in column 7 (rows 5 to 7) of the Default palette, with black (column 9, row 8) for streaks, studs and the crown. Keep bright green for small accents such as the gem; on a big layer it reads neon.

Which pose fits Cursed Lagoon?

We used the free Solo poses Magica for the sea siren (one leg lifted, arms out) and Twilight for the lagoon witch (one hand at the head).
