Connie's disturbing message to Anna.
In-game journal
From Connie to… Anna is a recording you can pick up out in the world of Permafrost. It lies away from any named place, so you will come across it in open country rather than at a settlement or landmark you can head for by name. Once you collect it, it goes straight into your journal.
The message is Connie taunting Anna. Connie insists that Anna must finally understand how the moon draws people who have lost their way towards them, warns that others will soon be drawn in too and that Anna will end up with nobody left, then asks whether being left on her own was what Anna had been after from the start. Like other recordings, it begins playing by itself the moment you pick it up. Recordings you have picked up are kept in the journal, where the MEMOS page lets you play, pause and stop them, so you can listen to this one again whenever you like.
